3、E This standard aims at specifying general property test of organic coatings on the vehicle instrument panel (hereinafter called “I/P“). 2. SCOPE This standard applies only to I/P with organic coatings on the surface. It also applies to cases in which organic coating types are changed. 3. TEST PIECE

4、 Unless specified otherwise in drawings or material specifications, prepare the sample to the quantity specified in test specifications. When it is difficult to take samples from the product, conduct test with the product. When it is impossible to take samples from the product, prepare samples made

5、of the same material and same painting process. 3.1. No. of samples: At least 3 for each test item 3.2. Test piece size: 100100min. 1.0X 3.3. Samples shall preferably be taken from the product considering the product shape. 4. PRE-TREATMENT Unless specified otherwise in drawings or material specific

6、ations, components in the delivery conditions shall be used without any special pre-treatment. When specified in material specifications, samples shall be pre-treated as specified. Test shall be conducted in the complete component state. When components are cut out for test, the cut surface shall be

7、 protected with adhesive tape, etc. to prevent peeling by moisture or surrounding environment conditions. 5. TEST EQUIPMENT Test equipment specified in clause 6 shall be used.
