The test facilities and equipment shall be in good working order and shall have a valid calibration label. 3.

Subjective rating methods should be used only when state of the art or other circumstance precludes objective evaluation methods and/or meas

7、urements. The “0” section is to be used to indicate that a component is not functioning, not on the vehicle, etc., and, therefore, cannot be rated. Refer to Table 1 for the Performance scale to rate such items as ride, handl

9、ing, radio performance, and so on. 4.3.3 Disturbance Scale. Refer to Table 2 for the Disturbance section of the scale to rate such items as axle noise, shake, wind noise, and tire roughness. Trace means very infrequent and very minor. 4.3.4 Squeaks and Rattles Scale. Refer to Table 3 for the subject

10、ive rating scale for squeaks and rattles. 4.3.5 Fluid Leaks Scale. Refer to Table 4 the subjective rating scale for fluid leaks.
