6、 molding oftest specimens shall be accomplished perISO 294-1, with the conditions for injection moldingfrom ISO 7792-2.All values indicated herein are based on materialconsidered to be in the dry-as-molded state, withmoisture content of 0.02% maximum(ASTM D6869; ISO 15512, Method A or B, orGMW14335)

7、. Immediately after molding,specimens shall be sealed in moisture-proofcontainers and stored at (23 2) C for at least24 h prior to test as specified in ISO 1874-2. Alltests shall be performed on unannealed specimensimmediately after their removal from the containersin a controlled atmosphere per GMW

8、3221,Code A, unless otherwise specified. In addition,tests specified at temperatures below or above(23 2) C shall be conducted at the specifiedtemperature using specimens conditioned at thespecified temperature for 4 h minimum.The minimum values specified in the propertytables must be met by test sp

9、ecimens in natural,black, or in a standard sampled color if natural orblack are not available.3.2 Requirements on Delivery. Importantphysical, mechanical and thermal properties thatcharacterize the material are summarized inTable 1. The color shall be specified on drawings,in material specifications

10、 and otherwise.3.3 Compound Properties (Natural and Black).See Table 1. The following are also required for fullstandard approval. The minimum number of lotsper test required is one in natural: Poissons Ratio,Coefficient of Linear Thermal Expansion (CLTE),mold shrinkage, stress strain curve at multi

11、pletemperatures (-30 C, +23 C, +85 C). All partsmanufactured from mold

18、ing compounds shall beresistant to the media they contact at their place ofuse.4 Manufacturing ProcessNot applicable.5 Rules and Regulations5.1 Legal Regulations. All materials must satisfyapplicable laws, rules, regulations andrecommendations valid in the country of usage.5.2 Language. In the event

19、 of conflict between theEnglish and domestic language, the Englishlanguage shall take precedence.5.3 Inspection and Rejection. Samples ofcomponents or materials released to a GMmaterial specification shall be tested for conformitywith the requirements of this material specificationand approved by th

20、e responsible Engineeringdepartment prior to commencement of delivery ofbulk supplies.A new approval must be received for any changes,e.g., properties, manufacturing process, location ofmanufacture, etc. If not otherwise agreed, alltesting and documentation normally required forinitial release must

21、be completed.It is the responsibility of the supplier to inform thecustomer in a timely manner, without solicitation,and to include documentation of all modifications ofmaterials and/or processes and to apply for a newrelease.If not otherwise agreed, all release tests shall berepeated and documented

22、 by the supplier prior tocommencement of delivery of non-conforming bulksupplies. In individual cases, a shorter test can beagreed to between the responsible Engineeringdepartment and the supplier.5.4 Material Safety Data Sheets/Safety DataSheets (MSDS/SDS). For new productsubmissions, or when a cha

23、nge in chemicalcomposition of an existing product has occurred, acomplete copy of the Material Safety DataSheet/Safety Data Sheet must be submitted incompliance with the Globally Harmonized Systemof Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS)requirements or other country-specific MSDS/SDSrequirem

24、ents. In addition, product MSDS/SDSsubmissions must be in compliance with specificcountry General Motors TMC003 Material SafetyData Sheet/Safety Data Sheet guidancedocuments where available.5.5 All materials supplied to this standard mustcomply with the requirements of GMW3059,Restricted and Reporta
