Importantphysical, mechanical and thermal properties thatcharacterize the material are summarized incharts. The color shall be specified on drawings,
6、inmaterial specifications and otherwise.Unless otherwise specified, injection molding oftest specimens shall be accomplished per ISO 294with the conditions for injection molding fromISO 1874-2.All values indicated herein are based on materialconsidered to be in the dry-as-molded state withmoisture c
7、ontent of 0.2% maximum (ASTM D6869,ISO 15512, Method A or B, or GMW14335).Immediately after molding, specimens shall besealed in moisture-proof containers and stored at22 C 3 C for at least 24 h prior to test asspecified in ISO 1874-2. All tests shall beperformed on unannealed specimens immediatelya
8、fter their removal from the containers in acontrolled atmosphere per GMW3221, Code A,unless otherwise specified. In addition, testsspecified at temperatures below or above22 C 3 C shall be conducted at the specifiedtemperature using specimens conditioned at thespecified temperature for 4 h minimum.T

Samples ofcomponents or materials released to a GMmaterial specification shall be tested for conformitywith the requirements of this materia
21、l specificationand approved by the responsible Engineeringdepartment prior to commencement of delivery ofbulk supplies.A new approval must be received for any changes,e.g., properties, manufacturing process, location ofmanufacture, etc. If not otherwise agreed, alltesting and documentation normally
22、required forinitial release must be completed.It is the responsibility of the supplier to inform thecustomer in a timely manner, without solicitation,and to include documentation of all modifications ofmaterials and/or processes and to apply for a newrelease.If not otherwise agreed, all release test
23、s shall berepeated and documented by the supplier prior tocommencement of delivery of non-conforming bulksupplies. In individual cases, a shorter test can beagreed to between the responsible Engineeringdepartment and the supplier.5.4 Material Safety Data Sheets/Safety DataSheets (MSDS/SDS). For new
24、productsubmissions, or when a change in chemicalcomposition of an existing product has occurred, acomplete copy of the Material Safety DataSheet/Safety Data Sheet must be submitted incompliance with the Globally Harmonized Systemof Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS)requirements or other
25、country-specific MSDS/SDSrequirements. In addition, product MSDS/SDSsubmissions must be in compliance with specificcountry General Motors TMC003 Material SafetyData Sheet/Safety Data Sheet guidancedocuments where available.5.5 All materials supplied to this standard mustcomply with the requirements
