ScoPe: This Commercial Item Descripti

2、on covers natural, synthetic, or synthetic natural rubber bands which are used in an office environment. 2. Salient Characteristics: The rubber bands shall be compounded from natural rubber, synthetic rubber (SBR), or synthetic natural rubber (polyisoprene), or any mixture of the three. 2.1 The unit

3、 weight shall be O. 113 kg (U4 Ib.) or 0.454 kg (1 lb.), as specified in the contract or order. 2.2 The number of rubber bands per pound for each size band shall be as specified in Table 1 and tested in accordance with ASTM D 412. 2.3 The inside length shall be as specified in Table 1. when tested i

4、n accordance with Section 3. 2.4 The rubber bands shall meet the requirements specified in Table II. 2.5 The rubber bands shall have no objectionable odor 2.6 Workmanship. The rubber bands shall be free from ragged and nicked edges and other defects which may affect appearance or might affect servic

5、eability. 3. Remlatorv Requirements: The offerer/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable, in accordance with paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this commercial item description, conform to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards and q

10、uality assurance practices and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial market. To examine the length, place the band on a flat surface and, using a straight edge, press each band together until the inner surface touches throughout the entire length of the ba
