A isosceles triangularshaped bead of material, 6 mm wide at the base,15 mm high and 95 mm long is placed on a flatside of the glass plate along one of the 95 mmedges. The glass is then positioned so as tosandwich the material between it and
23、 the steelpanel and forced down until the material reaches auniform thickness of 5 mm. The specimens arecured for a minimum of 72 h 23 2C and 50%RH and them subjected to the test condition. Afterthe specified exposure, each sample is tested onthe vibration machine and must withstand, withoutphysical
24、 change, a total of 900 000 cycles of shearusing 0.4 mm deflection and 0.3 mm tension. Allsamples must pass 300 000 cycles each 23 2C and 50% RH as well as water immersion 23 2C.2.2.6 Modulus of Rigidity in Shear. 29、nimumcohesive strength of the urethanes shall be 1300 kPa.2.2.7.2 In Plant Repair. Follow the procedure in 3.2.7.1.except use the test material instead of the 9981450.2.2.8 Porosity. A 6 x 6 x 100 mm bead laid on a clean glass surfaceshall show no evidence of gassing at the glass material interfacea
30、fter curing 72 h 75 2C and 50% RH. A longitudinal cutthrough the bead shall show no porosity.2.2.9 Elongation *ASTM D638). Cure samples for 168 h 23 2Cand 50% RH. Cut samples using die #4. The jaw distance shallbe 25 mm. The percent elongation range shall be reported andwill become a requirement of
