Some terms and definitions are taken from existing Recommendations on dependability and quality of service (ITU-T E.800, also International Standard IEC 50-191) and on traffic engineering (IT-T E.600, also International Standard IEC 50-7 15). Some further coordination with Telecommunication

46、 Standardization ITU-T SG 2 might improve compatibility with IT-T Recommendations. 2 International Electrotechnical Vocabulary (IEV) 2.1 Chapter 7 13 (Radiocommunications: transmitters, receivers, networks and operation), which was prepared with the participation of IT-R experts, was approved in Mar

47、ch 1996, and is being published as International Standard IEC 50-713. 2.2 New Sections 723-10 (Digital television) and 723-1 1 (Three-dimensional stereoscopic television) of Chapter 723 (Broadcasting: sound, television, data) were prepared with the cooperation of Radiocommunication SG 11 experts. an

48、d are now circulated as a final draft International Standard (FDIS) for approval. 2.3 Chapters 705 (Radio waves propagation), 715 (Telecommunication networks, teletraffic and operation), 716-1 (Integrated services digital networks (ISDN): general aspects) and 723 (Broadcasting: sound, television, da

49、ta), which were approved previously, have been published since the previous Radiocommunication Assembly as International Standards of the IEC. 2.4 Among the chapters of the class 1 (Fundamental concepts), a complete revision was made for mathematics (Chapter 101 being published), physics and chemistry (Chapter 11 1 published in 1996), and electromagnetism (Chapter 121 being published). Amendments to Chapters 161 (Electromagnetic compatibility) and 191 (Reliability, maintainability and quality of service) are a
