23、ers. 2 Background This Recommendation is part of the 1.432-series, and contains those characteristics that are specific to transmission systems operating at 1544 kbit/s and 2048 kbit/s. It should be used in conjunction with Recommendation 1.432.1 on general characteristics which treats material rele
24、vant to all B-ISDN transmission systems at the UNI. These Physical Layer characteristics may be used to take advantage of existing transmission equipment and building wiring.
