6、tion Q.1902.4 Bearer independent call control protocol (Capability Set 2): Basic call procedures Summary This Recommendation describes the Bearer Independent Call Control (BICC) basic call procedures for the suppoh of narrow-band ISDN services independent of the bearer technology and signalling mess
7、age transport technology used (Capability Set 2). Source ITU-T Recommendation 4.1902.4 was prepared by ITU-T Study Group 11 (2001-2004) and approved under the WTSA Resolution 1 procedure on 2 July 2001. The modifications indicated in Corrigendum 1 (04/02) have already been included in this Recommend
8、ation. ITU-T Rec. 4.1902.4 (07/2001) 1 FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecomunicatiens. The IT1 Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITLT-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technic
9、al, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in
10、 turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with IS0 and EC. N
