7、 SYSTEM NO. 2 - USER-NETWORK INTERFACE (UNI) LAYER 3 SPECIFICATION FOR BASIC CALL/CONNECTION CONTROL AMENDMENT 2 Summary Recommendation 4.293 1 provides basic call and connection control for point-to-point connections in a B-ISDN. Amendment 2 to Recommendation 4.2931 has been prepared to allow signa
8、lling of AAL parameters associated with ATM Adaptation Layers specified in the I-series Recommendations since the original publication of Recomiiiefidation Q.2931 and is designed to be compatible with implementations conforming to the first edition of Recommendation 4.293 1 (1 995). The changes from

15、lized Agency in the field of telecommunications. The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of the ITU. The KU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunication

The World Telecommunication Standardization Conference (WTSC), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T Study Groups which, in their turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of Recommendations by the Members of the ITU-T i

It contains the parameters selecta
38、ble by the user for all AAL sublayers. The contents of this information element is transparent for the network, except for the case of intenvorking.
