7、This Recommendation is part of the DSS2 family of ITU-T Recommendations. It specifies the revision of the Quality of Service (QoS) parameter information element coding from that which was specified in the first edition of Recommendation 4.2931 (1995) in order to enable the signalling of Quality of S

8、ervice (QoS) classes defined in Recommendation 1.356 (1996). Source ITU-T Recommendation 4.2965.1 was prepared by ITU-T Study Group 11 (1997-2000) and was approved under the WTSC Resolution No. 1 procedure on the 15th of March 1999. 1 Recommendation Q.2965.1 (03/99) FOREWORD ITU (International Telec

9、ommunication Union) is the United Nations Specialized Agency in the field of telecommunications. The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of the ITW. The ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on th

10、em with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Conference (WTSC), which meets every four years, estabiishes the topics for study by the ITU-T Study Groups which, in their turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval

11、 of Recommendations by the Members of the ITU-T is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSC Resolution No. 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with IS0 and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation the te

12、rm recognized operating agency (ROA) includes any individual, company, corporation or governmental organization that operates a public correspondence service. 19、UBSCRIBER SIGNALLING SYSTEM No. 2 - SUPPORT OF QUALITY OF SERVICE CLASSES (Geneva, 1999) 1 Scope The Q.2965-series Recommendations covers the support of quality of service indication for the Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network (B-ISDN) at the TB reference point or coincident SB and TB refe

20、rence point as defined in Recommendation 1.413 lo by means of the Digital Subscriber Signalling System No. 2 (DSS2). This Recommendation defines DSS2 protocol formats and procedures that support the indication of Quality of Service-related capabilities. This Recommendation is part of the DSS2 family

21、 of ITU-T Recommendations. It specifies the revised coding of the 4.2931 2 Quality of Service parameter information element specifically to enable the identification of the QoS class (see Recommendation 1.356 11). 2 References The following ITU-T Recommendations and other references contain provisio
