It was developed by the Focus Group on Smart sustainable Cities

10、 (FG-SSC) that carried out an analysis of definitions for smart sustainable cities (see Technical Report “ITU-T TR SSC Def“) following the adoption of the UN General Assembly 66 Resolution 288 (see “UN Resolution 288“). This definition has been developed with input from UNECE, UNFCCC, UNESCO, UN-Hab

11、itat, other UN agencies and stakeholders. 13、tion and communication technologies (ICTs). The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a world

14、wide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WT

15、SA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with ISO and IEC.
