The IT Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of the ITU. Some 179 member countries, 84 telecom operating en
8、tities, 145 scientific and industrial organizations and 38 international organizations participate in -T which is the body which sets world telecommunications standards (Recommendations). The approval of Recommendations by the Members of ITU-T is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSC Resolution
9、 No. 1 (Helsinki, 1993). In addition, the World Telecommunication Standardization Conference (WTSC), which meets every four years, approves Recommendations submitted to it and establishes the study programme for the following period. 13、4862.591 Ob18429 IL2 Summary Current X.700-Series Recommendations I International Standards mandate the use of CMIP and thus preclude the possibility of using other communications protocols for the transfer of systems management messages between Operations Systems (OS). This constrains industry from
14、 adoption of other applicable communications solutions whilst still remaining compliant to OS1 systems management functions. This Technical corrigendum makes provision for other communications protocols to be used although it does not specify what these are. It further corrects an ambiguity that can
15、 cause an Operations Systems (OS) implementor to develop software that will not work correctly with another vendors OS product for a small number of message types. This Technical corrigendum involves changes on this Recommendation I International Standard and other Recommendations I International St
