5、rom tackiness. This product may be used as a veneer for foundation board suitable for cab headliners. 2.0 SCOPE This specification covers the general requirements and properties of the vinyl coated paper. It does not cover the performance requirements after lamination to the foundation board. 3.0 RE

7、FR Title 29, Part 1910 AATCC-TM 8 INTERNATIONAL TMS-9544 FMVSS 302 4.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 4.1 Basic Substrate A blended sulfate cellulosic fiber of 100% virgin stock impregnated with a non-staining synthetic rubber of the butadiene-acrylonitrile type. The rubber impregnation shall be 35 to 45% of

11、mples of the pre-production material originally approved and on file in the Master Fabric Book in the Industrial Design Department at TDTC. 4.7 Property And Performance Requirements 4.7.1 Tensile Strength: ASTM D-751 Grab Method MD/CMD: 130/130 N (30/30 lbf) minimum 4.7.2 Tear Strength: ASTM D-751 T

12、ongue Method MD/CMD: 2.6/2.6 N (0.6/0.6 lbf) minimum 4.7.3 Adhesion: ASTM D-751 MD/CMD: 8.9 N/51 mm (20 lbf/2 in) minimum NOTE: This property is limited by the cohesive strength of the paper substrate. 4.7.4 Abrasion: ASTM D-3884 (Taber Abraser) After 100 cycles under 500 gram load using Calibrade C

13、S-10 abrasive wheel, there shall be no appreciable color change of the abraded surface. 4.7.5 Low Temperature Resistance Shall not crack or check at -29C (-20F) when bent 180 around 6.4 mm (1/4 in) rod after two hour exposure. 4.7.6 Blocking: ASTM D-1146 The coated surface will show no permanent dam

14、age upon rapid separation when placed face to face under 3 kPa (0.5 lbf/in) pressure for thirty minutes at 80C (176F). 4.7.7 Crocking: AATCC TM-8 AATCC rating of four minimum after ten strokes on the Crockmeter. 16、to Light No color change in excess of #4 rating on the ISO Gray Scale after exposure for 100 standard Fadeometer hours. 4.7.9 Flammability Resistance Material supplied to this specification shall conform to and be certified by the supplier to meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Sta

17、ndard #302 - Flammability of Interior Materials and all requirements of TMS-9544. 5.0 QUALITY All product supplied shall be clean and free from dirt, oils, sharp edges, or defects harmful to product performance. 6.0 SOURCE APPROVAL AND QUALITY CONTROL 6.1 Supplier Requirements Suppliers must conform

18、 to the requirements of the International IQR Quality Standard which includes conformance to the QS-9000 (ISO 9001) Quality System Standard. A mutually acceptable Quality Control Plan as described therein is required for source approval to the requirements of this specification. 6.2 Approval Parts s

19、upplied against contracts or purchase orders citing this specification shall be equivalent in all respects to those samples which were approved by the purchaser. No changes in formulation or processing practices are permitted without approval. In the event that changes in material, properties, proce

20、ssing practices, construction, color, or labeling of the product are required, the supplier shall notify Materials Engineering at TDTC and Purchasing and Supplier Development of the proposed change(s). Test data indicating conformance to all requirements of this specification, test samples, and new

21、or amended or updated Material Safety Data Sheet(s) (MSDS), in accordance with CFR Title 29, Part 1910 shall be submitted with the request for change. 6.3 Process Control The supplier shall either perform and report results of tests on specific lots of parts produced or provide statistical evidence

22、of the lot having been produced in a state of statistical control and with a process capable of providing all required properties. The part supplier and the plant metallurgist and/or the quality control manager of the using International plant may determine testing and reporting requirements on specific products.
