、O00 miles and height control valve 250 O00 miles 4.2.4 Noise The noise transmissibility Vs frequency through the assembly, in the vertical and lateral directions, will be measured in a bench test with equivalent cab static weight simulated by a concentrated mass and the shocks hydraulically locked.
、Transmissibility shall be less than 0.5g for inputs of 30 Hz and above, with 0.020 inch DA up to 22Hz, and 0.5g above 22 Hz. The equivalent cab static weight is dependent upon cab type. (Type CS cab has a static weight of 550 lbs.). 4.2.5 Performance-Frequency Natural frequency of the cab suspension
、 module in the vertical direction shall be less than 2.0 hertz. 4.3 Testing; Requirements Supplier test reports will be in accordance with TMS-9543. All testing performed by the supplier is subject to validation by TDTC Technical Development Department. International will specify, coordinate, and pe
、rform all on-highway testing. 4.3.1 Roof Crush Testing When properly installed, the cab suspension module shall be of sufficient strength to keep the cab attached to the chassis throughout the entire roof strength testing procedure specified in ECE-R29 andor SAE 52422. When subjected to this strengt
、h testing the module will not deflect in a manner that compromises the ability of the cab to withstand the specified loads. 4.3.2 20 G Pull Apart Test The cab suspension module shall not separate when subjected to a quasi-static force equal to the force resulting from a 20 G forward acceleration of
、the cab parallel to the longitudinal axis of the chassis. The force is calculated by assuming the acceleration results in a force equal to 20 times the weight of the fully trimmed and occupied cab, acting through the cabs center of gravity, in a forward direction. The forward cab mounts are friction
、less, pinned connections, and it is assumed that the sum of the moments about the front cab mounts equal zero. During testing the module will be mounted in the same manner as will be used to mount the module in the vehicle. 5.0 QUALITY All modules supplied will be clean and free from dirt, oils, or
、defects harmful to product performance. Color and texture shall be uniform and consistent with samples that were originally approved. 5.1 Quality Control Plan A Quality Control Plan for this product will be established by mutual agreement between Navistar and the supplier. The following items, where
、 applicable,* shall be included in the control plan as features for management by statistical process control.* 5.1.1 Air Springs, Installed Heights, and Shock Properties 5.1.1.1 Air Springs 1.
