REQUIREMENTS 3.1 * Preproduction - The amplifiers furnished under this specif - ication shall be a product, samples of which have been tested and have pas
10、sed th preproduction tests specified herein. 3.2 Quality conformance - Each amplifier furnished under this specification shall.have demonstrated that it fulfills all of the requirements of this specification by satisfactorily performing of the Individual tests spec - ified herein, and being one of a
11、 lot from which representative units have passed the specified Sampling tests. 3.3 Specification sheets - The individual part requirements shall be as specified herein and in accordance with the applicable specification sheet. in the event of conflict between this specification and the specification
12、 sheet, the latter shall govern. a .4 Design and construction - 3.4.1 Compliance with Specification MIL-E-5400 - Amplifiers fur - nished under this specification shall comply with all requirements of MIL-E- 5400 with the following exceptions: Requirements in conflict with the applicable speci - fioa
13、tion sheets. Requirements in conflict with this specification, Requirements which are not applicable, such as those pertaining to materials, parts, or processes not used in the construction of the amplifier. 3.4.2 Adjustments - Unless otherwise specified in the applicable specification shGets, no ad
14、justment for gain or phase shift shall be provided. 3.4.3 Capacitors - Capacitors used throughout the amplifier shall conform to MILLC-3965. 3.4.4 Semiconductors - Semiconductors used throughout the am - plifier shall be ilicon, conforming to MIL-S-19500. 3.4.5 Non-magnetic materials - Non-magnetic

16、, 3.4.7 Physical characteristics - The physical characteristics of the amplifier shall be in accordance with the applicable specification sheets. 3.4.8 Electrical characteristics - 3.4.8.1 Quiescent current - The input current drawn by the amplifier when measured in accordance with 4.3.4 shall not e
17、xceed the value specified in the applicable specification sheet. 3.4.8.2 utput noise - The output noise level of the amplifier shall be no greater than the maximum Bpecified in the applicable specification sheet when the amplifier is teated in accordance with 4.3.5. 3.4.8.3 Stablity - The amplifier
18、shall operate with no extraneous sig- nai in the output when tested in accordance with 4.3.6. 3.4.8.4 Power supply impedance effect - The amplifier shall operate with M) extranmus signai in the output when tested in accordance with 4.3.7. ir 3.4.8.5 High signai voltage input c The de current drawn b

20、er is tested in accordance with 4.3.9. 3.4.8.7 Short circuit current - The dc current drawn by the amplifier shall not exceed the value specified in the applicable specification sheet when the amplifier is tested in accordance with 4.3.10. 3.4.8.8 Power supply overvoltane - The signai voltage gain s
21、hall remain within the limits specified in the applicable specification sheet when the amplifier is tested in accordancs with 4.3.11. . 3.4.8.9 Signal riipu t voltage gain - The voltage gain of the amplifier shaU be as speoified in the applicable specification sheet when the amplifier is tested in a

23、.13. The voltage gain shall be aa specfied in the applicable specification sheet. 3.4.8.11 Phase shift - The phase shift through the amplifier shall be within the limits specified in the applicable specification sheet when measured according to 4.3.14. 3.4.8.12 S Type 2 amplifiers shall be inspected
24、 without disassembly. There shall be no evidence of corrosion which could in any manner prevent the amplifier from meeting the requirements of this specification. 3.4.9.6 Acceleration - The amplifier shall provide the output . specified in the applicable specification sheet when tested in accordance
25、 with 4.3.28. 3.4.9.7 Radio interference - The amplifier shall be so constructed that radiated and conducted radio noise will not interfere with the effective use of communication or navigation equipment when tested in accordance with 4.3.29. 3.4.9.8 Reliability - The amplifier reliability shall be
26、planned, designed, and reported in accordance with MIL-STD-756. The reliability goal, expressed in mean-time-between-failure (MTBF), shall be as specified in the applicable specification sheets. The confidence level shall be 90 percent. To determine the MTBF actually attained, the amplifier shall be
27、 tested in accordance with 4.4.30. The quantity of amplifiers to be tested shall be as specified in the conttact. For preproduction testing the test duration and the maximum number of failures shall be as specified in the contract (see 6.2). Quality Conformance inspection for production lots shall b

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection - Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance
31、of aU inspection requirements as specifled herein. Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own or any other inspection facilities and services accept- able to the Government. Inspection records of the examination and tests shall be kept complete and available to the Government a8
32、 specified in the contract or order. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections aide deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. ,- 4.2 Classification of tests - The kpection and t
33、esting of amplifiers (a) Preproduction tests. ) Quality conformance inspection. shall be classified as follows: 4.2.1 Preproduction tests - The preproduction tests of the amplifier shall consist of the tests listed InTable I. 4.2.1.1 Preproduction test sample - The number of units in the pre- produc
34、tion test sample shail be as specified in the contract or purchase order. The sample shall coneist of amplifiers manufactured and packaged in accordance with this specification. The units submitted for preproduction testing shall not have been pitsviously tested except for the Individuai tests. The

49、onent of the amplifier 4.3 Test methods - 2- 4.3.1 Rough handling - Amplifiers submitted for sampling tests, shall be packaged and packed in a manner typical of the amplifiers to be delivered under contract or order. Rough handling tests of packaging and packing shall be performed on the unopened package6 in accordance with MIL-P-7936. 4.3.2 Visual inspection - The
