The MX-8757/UPX defruiter shall be a pulse-to-pulse defruiter employing 3.2.1.1 Operational modularity. The design of the MX-8757/UPX defruiter shall b

20、rform up to four modes of defruiting (with up to five modes interlaced) using a single channel of memory. Bracket-defruiting shall be employed on the first interrogation cycle each time the mode of interrogation is changed. The design of the MX-8758/UPX defruiter shall be such that it shall be possi
21、ble to increase or decrease the range of the defruiter in accordance with the requirements of 3.2.1.1.1.b by the simple addition or deletion of printed circuit boards or plug- in subassemblies which may be accomplished at the field operating level. 3.2.3 Reliability and maintainability. The reliabil
22、ity and maintainability requirements specified herein shall apply equally to the MX-8757/UPX and the HX-8758/UPX defruiters, unless otherwise specified herein. MX-8757/UPX and the MX-8758/UPX equipments shall be units capable of four-mode, 648 km (350 nm) defruiting. 3.2.2.1 Operational modularity.
