Mechanical and electrical interchangeability shall exist between assemblies, subassemblies, and replaceable parts performing the same functions in other equipments of

4、the same production type regardless of the manufacturer or supplier. Interchangeability for the purpose of this paragraph does not mean identity, but requires that a substitution of such liKe assemblies, subassemblies, and replaceable parts be easily effected, without resorting to selections, in acc

5、ordance with the following requirements. “(a) No physical or electrical modification to any parts of the substituted items or the residual equipment shall be necessary. “(b) Realignment of the electrical circuit in the substituted assemblies of the residual equipment shall not be necessary. “(c) The

6、 substitution shall have no deleterious effect on the equipments performance capability. “3.1.1 The AN/SRA-33 shall be fully compatible in operation with the ANISRC-2OA and AN/SRC-21A transceivers. V-7 versions of the AN/WSC-3(V) transceiver is also required except for the tuning increments. Operati
