REQUIREMENTS 3.1 General.- Materials, parts and assemblies shall comply with the requirements specified on the applicable drawings and referenced spe

17、 components listed under 3.4.1. 3.4.2.1 Replace the one-piece launcher tube, containing the integral thon lugs, with the 2-piece aluminum launcher tube and pellet assembly, dwg. F8597935, and steel trunnion and pellet assembly, wg. F8597936. 3.4.2.2 Delete nut component a 2 3.5 Protective finish.- P

20、the applicable drawings, referenced specifications and the following: *. 3.7.1 Metal defects.- The part shall be free from cracks, splits, or any other metal defect. 3.7.2 - Burr.- The part shall not have a burr which might interfere with the assembly or function of the item or which might be injuri

21、ous to personnel handling the item. 3.7.3 ForeiG matter.- The part or assembly shall not contain chips, dirt, grease, rust, corrosion or other foreign matter. 40 QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection.- Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplie

39、ade 4.3 Test methods and procedures. 4.3.1 Hydrostatic pressure.- Prior to the application of protective finish, each component listed in 3.2 and 3.2.1 shall be individually mounted in the device, using the fixtures for sealing all openings and then subjected to the hydrostatic pressure to determine

40、 compliance with the requirements listed in 3.2 and 3.2.1. be applied to an area 1 3/4 inches, minimum, from the open end of the breech and transmit no load to the bottom surface. 47、e and booster bube assemblies which do not contain the stamped part number on the inside face of the cylinder slider.valve shall be replaced with new assemblies conforming to the requirements of drawing F8596893, and the booster tube which assembles to the cylinder slider valve, shall conform to the

48、 requirements of drawing F8596895. 6.4.2 Nozzles which do not contain the staMped part number shall be re- placed with nozzle assemblies conforming to the requirements of drawing F8596905, and the nozzle component conforming to the requirements of drawing F10520244. 6.4.3 The two-piece steel bottom
