REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Testing - This specification makes provision for testing (see 4). 3.2 Materials, Parts, and Processes - Materials, Parts and Processes shall be in accordance with MIL-T-21200 as stated herein.

11、3.2.1 Selection of Parts - All parts used in the con- struction of the equipment shall be in accordance with the require- ments stated herein. The selection of parts shall be in accordance with the following order of preference: (a) MIL-BUL-400 (b) Other Standards, Specifications and requirements li

12、sted herein but not included in MIL-BUL-400 ( C) MIL-STD-143 All parts used except as covered in (a) and (b) will require written approval in accordance with 3.2.1.1. 3.2.1.1 Approval of Non-Standard Parts - Action for approval of non-standard parts shall be in accordance with MIL-T- 21200 Category

14、-Cadmium rechargeable sealed cells in accordance with Leigh Instruments Specification Control Drawing 10114. Batteries shall be rigidly mounted and shall be removable and replaceable without damage to the equipment. The battery compartment shall be marked as specified herein to indicate connections,

15、 polarity, voltage, and manufacturers part number, 3.2.4 Cable and Wiring 3.2.4.1 Wire,Hook-up - Hook-up wire shall conform to MIL-STD-454 Requirement 20. 3.2.4.1.1 Color Coding of Hook-up Wiring - Color coding identification shall be used for all chassis wiring; in accordance - with MIL-STD-454, Re

19、 9777906 0172516 O m MIL-C-81972 (AS) 3.2.7.1 Gasket Material - Material for non-oil-resistant applications shall conform to MIL-R-900. 3.2.8 Meters - Electrical indicating meters shall be in accordance with MIL-T-21200. 3.2.8.1 External Adjustment - All panel indicating meters shall provide for ext

20、ernal zero adjustment. 3.2.8.2 Luminous Markings - Radioactive materials such as self-luminous dial markings, shall not be used. 3.2.9 Rotary Switches - Rotary switches shall conform to MIL-S-3786. 3.2.10 Toggle Switches - Toggle switches shall conform to MIL-S-3950 or MIL-S-8834. 3.2.11 Threaded De

21、vices - Threaded bolts, nuts, screws and studs employed in the construction ofthe equipment shall conform to MIL-STD-454 Requirement 12. 3.2.12 Nuts - All nuts shall be metal self-locking and shall conform to MIL-N-25027. 3.2.13 Transformers - Transformers shall conform to MIL-T-27 Grade 5 temperatu

MIL-C-39019. 3.3 Design and Construction 3.3.1 Pigtailed Parts Mounting - Parts provided with pig- tail leads such as small resistors and capacito

23、rs, other than those mounted on printed wiring boards shall be secured between solder- type terminals on part mounting boards whose general design and material are as specified herein. 26、esses shall conform to MIL-T-713, Type P, Class 2, waxed. 3.3.4 Aluminum Alloy - Aluminum alloy used in the construction of the equipment shall comply with Para 3.1.6.3 of MIL-I-21200. 3.3.5 Finishes-All finishes used in the construction of the equipment shall comply with MIL-T-21200 Para 3.1.8. 3.3

27、.6 Safety - Equipment design shall comply with Requirement 1 of M.IL-STD-454. A battle short will not be required. 3.3.6.1 Primary Power Circuits - Primary power circuits shall be isolated from the equipment enclosure or chassis. 3.3.6.2 Overload Protection - Overload protection shall conform to Req

28、uirement 8 of MIL-STD-454, Class 1. Protection shall be furnished by trip free circuit breakers in accordance with Para 3.2.14 of this specification. 3.3.6.3 Bonding - The equipment enclosure shall be furnished with a stud for grounding purposes. dia (USS thread), spot welded to the cabinet. 30、 Internal conductors shall be combined into a harness wherever possible and securely held by lacing tape (see Para 3.3.3) or cable ducts. When cabling is carried across a hinge sufficient support, slack and protection shall be provided to prevent chafing or breakage with repeated flexing. Selection

31、of cables shall be in accordance with Requirement66 of MIL-STD-454. 3.3.8 Test Points - Test points shall be provided conf ohing to MIL-STD-415. 3.3.9 Enclosure - The basic enclosure shall conform to Class 2 of MIL-T-21200 and shall be watertight in accordance with MIL-STD-108. With the cover remove

32、d and the access door closed, the enclosure shall be drip-proof in accordance with MIL-STD-108. 3.3.9.1 Access Door - The internal access door shall be capable of being retained in its open position to prevent acci- dental closing due to ship movement. When open, covers, doors etc, shall not cause t

33、he equipment to overbalance. 3.3.9.2 Access Door Fastening - The internal access door shall be-hinged on one of the longer sides and shall be fastened by a lever and three-point latch on the opposite side. 3.3.10 Panels - Panel layouts and arrangement of operating controls shall conform to MIL-T-212

34、00. Lighting of control panels shall not be required. 3.3.11 Nomenclature and Nameplates - Nomenclature shall be requested and assigned in accordance with MIL-N-18307. Name- plates shall conform to MIL-N-18307. 3.3.12 Workmanship - General workmanship shall conform to Requirement 9 of MIL-STD-454. 3

35、.4 Performance 3.4.1 Electrical - The equipment shall operate from a nominal 115V 60 Hz single phase supply. All performance require- ments shall be met within the steady state tolerances of plus or minus 10 percent nominal voltage and plus or minus 5 percent of nominal frequency . 7 7 - Provided by

37、te limits, recoverable to the steady state limits within 2 seconds. Stated performance is not required during transients, but shall be recovered on recovery inside the steady state limits. 3.4.1.2 Transient Frequency - The equipment shall withstand a frequency transient of up to plus or minus 3 perc

38、ent of nominal, from any point within the steady state limits such that total departure from nominal does not exceed plus or minus 6 percent of nominal, recoverable to the steady state limits within 2 seconds. Ctated performance shall be maintained during frequency transients. 3.4.1.3 Power nterrupt

39、ion - The equipment shall withstand the fQllowing power interruptions: (a) Power loss for up to 30 seconds. (b) High voltage transients of up to 3.5 times nominal supply voltage of less than one cycle duration, ie: 16.7 milliseconds. 3.4.2 Vibration - Stated performance shall be maintained when subj

40、ected to MIL-T-21200, Class 2 vibration. 3.4.3 Shock - The equipment shall meet the requirements of Para 3.2.19.5 of MIL-T-21200. Stated performance shall be maintained during and after all shock tests. Additionally, units stored internally (see 3.5.1) shall be protected from all damage associated w

43、of: (a) Not exceeding quantity three (3) T-1129/URT-26(V) or T-1129A/URT-26(V). (or any combination not exceeding three ) . (b) Not exceeding quantity three (3) BB-620/URT-26(V) 3.5.2 Charge Current - The equipment shall provide for selection of either of two charge rates for each stored unit. The t
