Parts and material - In the selection of parts and materials, In Integrated Standard 3.2.2 Parts screenina - All electronic, electrical, and electro- mechanical parts shall have been screened to special screening specifications; e.g., ER, TX, MIL-M-38510 or their equivalents, prior to installation

Circuit matched llselect-on-testll components shall not be used in the design of this equipment. 3.2.3 Magnetic materials - In the design of the CRTDs
27、, the use of materials which easily become magnetized shall be held to a minimum consistent with the utilization of existing components. 3.2.4 of nonstandard parts and materials (including electron tubes, transistor, and diodes) other than microelectronic devices shall be obtained as outlined in MIL

The lightest practical design capable of the required performance shall be used. not greater than 80 pounds (36.3 Kg). EDSCG shall be not greater than 110 pounds (49.9 Kg). Total weight - Weig

(See 4.4.2) 3.3.2
32、.1 Operational stability - The EDSCG shall operate as required for a minimum of 100 hours in a temperature environment as specified herein, continuously or intermittently, without the necessity for adjustment of any controls which are inaccessible during flight. 3.3.2.2 Operating life - The EDSCG sh
33、all have as a minimum a service life of 4,000 hours when operated in any operational mode or combination of modes and under the environmental conditions specified herein with minimal service. 3 s3.2.3 after 5 years storage and transit in accordance with MIL-STD-210. CRT degeneration is allowed after
34、 18 months of continuous non-operating storage. Storage - The equipment shall be designed to operate as required 3.3.2.4 Reliability in mean time between failure (MTBF) - The TA-7C or A-7K EDSCG shall have a combined MTBF of 400 hours. The A-7D or A-7E EDSCG shall have a combined MTBF Of 500 hours.
35、3.3.2.5 Time totalizing meter - Each unit of the EDSCG shall contain a time totalizing meter in accordance with MIL-M-7793. 3.3.3 Cabling and connections - In addition to the following require- ments for unit interface to the aircraft, the requirements of 3.3.7.3.3 shall also apply for purposes of t
36、est equipment interface. the requirements of 3.3.7.1.1 shall apply. For internal connection, 3.3.3.1 Connectors - All connectors of the EDSCG intended for unit level testing purposes or interconnection between units of the EDSCG or other air- craft systems shall be in accordance with MIL-C-38999. 38、abling - The EDSCG shall be capable of required operation using external wiring in accordance with the applicable requirements of MIL-W-5088. The external wiring shall be unshielded, except that a minimum number of the individual wires may be shielded when demonstrated as necessary to meet interfere
39、nce control requirements and provided the assembly of the cable to its plugs may be easily accomplished. portion of the connectors attached to the cables shall not be supplied as part of the EDSCG. Assembly (WRA) connectors shall mate are listed in Table I. The EDSCG shall be electrically compatible
40、 with existing A-7D and A-7K aircraft wiring without change and shall be compatible with existing A-7E aircraft wiring except for deactivation of existing Auto-Tilt wiring. The EDSCG shall be compatible with existing TA-7C aircraft wiring without change except for the additional wiring required for
41、the Auto-Tilt and Protection Interface capabilities. External cables and that External connectors with which the EDSCG Weapon Replaceable 3.3.4 CRTD units shall be in accordance with MIL-P-7788 for Type V panels. for A-7E and TA-TC CRTD units shall be Class 1-R; those for A-7D and A-7K CRTD units sh

Integral lighting - The embedded integral lighting of the EDSCG Panels 3.3.5 Interchangeability - The EDSCG shall meet the interchangeability requirements of MIL-E-5400. 3.3.5.1 Retrofit interchanaeability - The EDSCG units shall be physically interchangeable with other comparable
43、units of the AN/APQ-l26(V) FLR display subsystem in prior use as specified in Table II. Operational interchangeability shall be as defined in 3.4.2.2. 3.3.5.2 EDSCG interchangeability - In addition to the requirements of MIL-E-5400, all contractor parts having the same part number shall be interchan
44、geable with each other with respect to installation, performance, and testing. Replacement of a WRA in the system (at Organizational level) shall be possible with no adjustment, alignment or harmonization of the replaced WRA or any other system component required (other than controls accessible to t
45、he equipment operator in flight). This capability shall be demonstrated on prototype models prior to production and on production units at the procuring activitys request. c Parts interchangeability shall be in accordance with MIL-1-8500. 3.3.6 such that its performance meets the EM1 susceptibility

47、aintainability efforts initiated during the predesign phase shall continue through the prototype phase. This continuing design liaison and guidance is performed to insure considerations of maintenance concepts, level of repair, maintainability requirement achieve- ment and objectives. Procuring acti
