(U) REQUIREMENTS 3.1 (U) Preproduction.- This specification makes provision for preproduction testing. 3.2 (U) Parts and materials.- In the selection of parts and materials, fulfillment of major design objectives shall be the prime consideration.

10、In so doing the following shall govern : (1) Microelectronic items shall conform to require- ments specified herein. (2) Other parts and materials requirements shall conform to specification MIL-E-5400. (3) Nonrepairable subassemblies shall be used in accordance with requirement AR-10 as outlined in

11、 specification MIL-E-5400. (4) When previously produced models o this equip- ment did not use nonrepairable subassemblies, the design shall not be changed to employ nonrepairable assemblies without the approval of the procuring activity. 3.2.1 (U) Nonstandard parts and materials approval.- Approval

12、for the use of nonstandard parts and materials other than microelectric devices shall be obtained as outlined in specification MIL-E-5400. Microelectronic devices (MIC) shall be approved as outlined in AR-5. 3.2.2 (U) Microelectronic modular assemblies (MICRA) . - When used, Microelectronic modular

13、assemblies shall meet the requirements of AR-5. 3.2.3 (U) Modules, maintenance.- The electronic portions the eauipment shall be divided into maintenance modules (see AR- LO) . -Maintenance modules shall normally be considered repairable. 14、0372037 LI - i 1 (This page UNCLASSIFIED) e 3.3 (U) Design and constructin.- The equipment shall con- form to all the applicable requirements of specification MIL-E- 5400 for design, construction, and workmanchip, except as otherwise specified herein. 3.3.1 (U) Weights.- The weight of the Programmer

15、 Unit shall not exceed 2.5 pounds. not exceed 3.5 pounds. The weight of each Sequence Switch shall 3.3.2 (U) Reliability.- The contractor shall conduct a reliability program using MIL-STD-785 as a guide from a supplier who has previously produced the equipment, the program previously used may be con

16、tinued unless otherwise indicated in the contract or order. On a reorder 3.3.2.1 (U) Operational stability.- The equipment shall operate with satisfactory performance, continuously, or inter- mittently for a period of at least 500 hours with exception of the clock. The clock will have at least a 50

17、hour operational stability at which only an adjustment may be required. 3.3.2.2 (U) Operating life.- The equipment shall have total operating life of 5000 hours with reasonable servicing and replacement of parts. shall be specified by the contractor. Parts requiring scheduled replacement 3.3.2.3 (U)

18、 Reliability in Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).- The equipment shall have 500 hours of mean (operating) time between failures when tested and accepted as outlined under the requirements of 4.4.3. 3.3.3 (U) Cabling and connections.- 5 (This page UNCLASSIFIED) Licensed by Information Handling Servi

19、cesMIL-D-81694 (AS) (This page UNCLASSIFIED) 3.3.3.1 (U) Cables and connectors.- The equipment shall Provide for the use of cables and connectors in accordance with - specification MIL-E-5400. 3.3.3.2 (U) Interconnection cabling.- The equipment shall be capable of satisfactory operation usins extern

20、al wirinq in accordance with the applicable requirements of specification MIL-W-5088. The external wiring shall be unshielded, except that a minimum number of the individual wires may be shielded when demonstrated as necessary to meet interference control requirements and provided the assembly of th

21、e cable to its plugs may be easily accomplished. External cables and that portion of the connectors attached to the cables shall not be supplied as part of the equipment. 3.3.4 (U) Control panels.- All rack or console mounted control panels shall conform to the applicable requirements of specificati

22、on MIL-C-6781. The configuration of all panels must be approved by the procuring activity prior to preproduction testing . 3.3.5 (U) Interchangeability.- 3.3.5.1 (U) AN/ALE-39.- All parts and components for any one dispenser system shall be physically and functionally interchange- ablewithall corres

23、ponding parts and components produced under contract in accordance with specification MIL-E-5400. The two sequencer switches in the dispenser system shall be physically and functionally interchangeable with each other. 3.3.6 (U) Interference control.- The equipment shall be defined as being within t

24、he category of “Computers“, and shall operate within the limits specified by the tests listed in Table IV, (Airborne Data Processing and Recording) of MIL-STD- 461AI Specific requirements of the equipment either . augmenting or deleting those listed herein shall be enumerated in the purchase descrip

28、 per- cent relative humidity 27.5 + - 0.5 V DC 3.3.10 (U) Service conditions.- The equipment shall operate satisfactorily under any of the environmental service conditions or reasonable combination of these conditions as specified in specifi- cation MIL-E-5400 for Class 4 equipment, except as modifi

29、ed herein. 3.3.10.1 (U) Vibration.- The equipment shall operate satis- factorily when subjected to the vibration requirements of Curve I of specification MIL-E-5400. (U) Temperature. - 3.3.10.2 3.3.10.2.1 (U) The programmer shall operate continuously at a maximum of +45OC. For the purpose of MIL-E-5

30、400, short-time or intermittent temperature extremes do not apply. 3.3.10.2.2 (U) The sequencer switch shall opjiate short-time at +15OoC; the intermittent temperature extreme does not apply. 3.3.10.3 (U) Altitude. - 3.3.10.3.1 (U) The programmer and sequencer switch shall op- erate to a maximum alt

31、itude of 70,000 feet. 3.3.10.4 (U) Temperature - Altitude - 3.3.10.4.1 (U) The programmer and sequencer switch shall operate satisfactorily under the conditions imposed for Class 3 equipment, shall be 70,000 feet maximum. 33、 MIL-STD-810. 3.3.11 (U) Warm-up time.- The time required for the equipment to warm-up prior to operation shall be kept to a min- imum and shall not exceed 0.5 seconds under standard conditions and 1.0 second.at extreme service conditions. 3.3.12 (U) Input electrical power.- 3.3.12.1 (U) Qperatincr

34、power.- The AN/ALE-39 dispenser system shall meet all applicable requirements of MIL-STD-704 and shall give specified performance when energized from power sources having characteristics and limits as defined in MIL-STD-704. The power source required shall not exceed the specified amount of 27.5 1.5

35、 V DC, Category B, 20 amps. I 3.3.12.1.1 (U) Equipment protection.- The AN/ALE-39 cockpit control unit, programmer, and sequencer switches shall be self- protected against damage by excessive voltage surges as deter- mined by MIL-STD-704, Category B. 3.3.12.2 (U) Lighting power.- Input power for lig

36、hting of the programmer shall require not more than LO watts at 5.0 volts, AC, 400 Hz, or 14/28 volts, AC 400 Hz. No lighting power is re- quired for the dispenser or sequencer switch. 3.3.12.3 (U) Degraded performance.- Degraded performance will be permitted for voltage transients not exceeding 0.5

37、 second during normal electric system operation. Operation shall return to normal with no resulting damage to the equipment. 3.3.12.4 (U) Standby power.- The equipment shall provide for a standby position whereby rated voltage shall be applied to all circuits. The standby power shall not exceed 900
