Instead, pentduoroethane (CHF2CF3, HFC-125) shall be used as the only approved halon 130 1 simulant during discharge testing. Simulant concentration and discharge dura
8、tion shall meet the requirements of 3.8 and 3 -9, respectively.: Add the following new paragraph: “4.3.2.2.1 Simulant fill parameters. The discharge test cylinder(s) shall be filled with pentafluoroethane to an amount equivalent to 77 percent of the actual suppression system agent weight, based on a
9、n equivalent liquid fill ratio of the halon 1301 bottle being simulated. Nitrogen pressurization of the test cylinder(s) shd be equivalent to that of the actual suppression system cylinder. ” Add the following new paragraph: “6.1.1 ODS assessment. Paragraph 3.7 requires the use of bromotrifiuorometh
10、ane, CF3Br, an ozone depleting substance. Based on the appropriate Technical Representatives assessment, it has been determined that a suitable substitute is not currently available. The use of bromotrifluoromethane, CF3Br, is permitted pending approval fiom the Senior Acquisition Official for each
