The filters furnished un-der this specification shall be a product whichhas been tested and has passed the Qualifka-tion tests specified herein.3.

3、2 Materials. Materials and .proeessesusedin the manufacture of these filters shall beof high quality, suitable for the purpose in-tended and shall conform to applicable Gov-ernment specifications. Materials conformingto contractors specifications may be usedprovided the specifications are approved b

AIi metals used in the ccm-struction of ihese filters, except metal in con-stant contact with the hydraulic fluid. shall beof a comosiomr

5、esistant or shall be ade-quately protected to resist corrosion duringthe normai service life of the filter.3.2.1.1 Diseimilav metde. The use of dia-similnr metals in contact with each other (par-ticularly brass, copper, or steel in contact withaluminum, magnesium, or their alloys) shallbe avoided. W

17、ray the internal surfaces firstwith 1,000 ml of petroleum naph-tha and then with 1,000 ml ofpetroleum ether to wmh any re-maining beads into the funnel.(q) When the fluid has paasd throughthe pyres fritted glass filter, washthe funnel and filter with petro-leum ether.
