The maximum and minimum wall thickness shall be the maximum and minimum measurement obtained from a series of measurements taken around the circumference of the hose
27、 but concentrated in the area visually suspected of being thick or thin. The difference between the minimum and maximum wall thickness determined, is wall concentricity. Hose wall thickness shall be measured in accordance with ASTM D 380. Measurements shall be taken approximately 1/2 inch from hose
28、end and measured to the nearest 0.001 inch. Concentricity shall not exceed the following values: For size -4 (1/4 inch) 0.060 inch; for sizes over -4 up to and including -32 (2 inch) 0.100 inch; and for sizes over -32, 0.125 inch. 3.4.3 Dimensions and pressures.
