MIL-I-24078(SHIPS) AMENDMENT - 1 14 June 1965 Page 1, paragraph 2.1, Specification MIL-L-12606,

The remote loudspeaker station shall include: (1) an LS-305/ SIC(IC/SAA) or LS-306/SIC(IC/SAG) loudspeake

4、r manufactured in accordance with requirements of MIL- A-20222 for loudspeaker type IC/SAA or IC/SAG; (2) two talk switches; and (3) a busy indicator lamp. The remote loudspeaker station circuitry will be in accordance with figure 3. “3.24.5.1 Wiring of intercommunication stations for use with remot

5、e loudspeaker stations. - 3.24.5.1.1 As required by 3.13.1, terminals shall be provided on the terminal board in the intercom- munication station for connection of ships wiring from the loudspeaker station(s) being used. “3.24.5.1.2 Means shall be provided to allow individual loudspeaker stations to

6、 be assigned to station selector switches of the master station on the basis of one loudspeaker station for each selector switch pushbutton. With one or more selector switch pushbutton(s) assigned to individual loudspeaker stations, the remaining master station selector switches shall be availabIe f

7、or assignment to call other in?ercommunica- tion stations in the system. The LS-518/SIC shall be capable of working with from 1 to 10 remote loud- speaker stations. The LS-519/SIC shall be capable of working with from 1 to 20 remote loudspeaker stations. “3.24.5.1.3 Type LS-518/SIC and LS-519/SIC in

8、tercommunication stations shall be factory wired for use in a system made up of intercommunication stations. Any wiring modification necessary for using the units with remote loudspeaker stations will be made during installation. The technical manual shall include de- tailed information on any wirin

Operation of the unit shall be tested under the condi- tions specified in 4.6.1.1 and 4.6.1.2. “4.6.1.1 w.- The equipment station shall be tested with an LS-386/SIC or LS-385/SIC intercommunication station for compliance with the opera- tional requirements of paragraph 3.24.1. If an L

19、S-386/SIC or LS-385/SIC is not available, a circuit model of the LS-386/SIC control circuitry shall be constructed and used for the test. “4.6.1.2 Operation with remote loudspeaker station.- The equipment station shall be tested for com- pliance with the operational requirements of 3.24.5, using an
