Maximum feasible use shall be made of solid state com- ponents in the design of the li-I- I nterrogator Set. Use of thermion

14、ic and ionizing tubes shal require written authorization from the procuring activity and shall be used only where no suitable solid-state devices are available, such as in the transmitter output stages. Solid state components capable of working over a broad range of temperature shall be used wheneve

15、r such use is technically feasible, and the added cost is not excessive. MIL-E-16400, except MIL-C-13777 shall be used for portable use, if required. shall be furnished with all connectors, receptacles, or plugs. 3.4.2 Environmental conditions. The equipment shall be designed to reliably conform to

16、performance requirements and within the environmental limits specified herein. 3.4.3 Electrical design. The equipment shall be designed and fabricated for a minimum loss of operational capability as functions are lost or become inoperative due to electrical, electronic, or physical failures. both AC

As a minimum this shall consist of a) reverse power diodes to prevent reversal of any voltage of 30 volts or below and b) circuitry to limit the rise of any voltage of 30 volts o

23、r less to a level which will prevent major damage to low level circuits, particularly integrated circuits.
