22、21A/ARCI ID-2229A/ARC and ID-2303/ARC 3.1 Item description. Frequency Channel Indicators shall be self-contained units for cockpit mounting. host receiver-transmitter and radio set control. The indicators shall contain circuits necessary to operate with a 3.2 Fi rst article, When specified in the co

23、ntract or purchase order (see 6.2.11, a sample shall be subjected to first article inspection (see 4.4 and 6.3). * 3.3 Parts. In the selection of parts, the prime Considerations are fulfil lment of performance requirements, logistics supportability and reliability assurance in a cost effective desig

24、n. The following shall govern in parts selection. a. Subassemblies shall be designed and fabricated to be repairable. Maximum econanic standardization of parts and materials chal 1 be exercised. Parts selection shall be made in the following order of precedence: (1) Mil itary Standard parts shall be

25、 selected in accordance with MIL-STD-454, Requi rement 22. (2) Nonstandard parts previously qual if ied for other programs. (3 1 Nonstandard parts. b. Nonstandard parts and nonestablished re1 iabi ity military standard parts shall be screened to the requirements of the most similiar military standar

26、d or standard nonestabl ished re1 iabil ity pa t. Integrated circuits and hybrids shall use MIL-STD-883, Method 5004, Class B, as a basis for tailored screens. 3.3.1 Cbmponent rescr eeni ng. The contractor shall conduct 100 percent incoming inspection of all active components used in production equi

27、pment and spares. Functional and parametric checks of active components shall be performed at the components rated temperature extremes and at ambient. Components which are not compliant with their specification shall not be used in the ARC. 3.3.2 Parts deratina and application, All parts used shall

28、 be applied well within their ratings. The derating shall encompass the appropriate and meaningful appl ication conditions such as voltage, current, power, temperature, mechanical, and duty cycle. Electronic and electromechanical parts shall conform to Table I electronic parts derating for worst cas

29、e electrical and environmental stress unless formal written approval is received from the procuring activity prior to incorporation into the design. Part level stress analysis shall be used to verify that all parameter stresses are within the derated values at worst case circuit and environmental co
