Materials not specified herein or on the drawings shall be selected on the basis of compatibility with the est

7、ablished design and suitability for the purpose intended. 3.2 Design.- The kit as shown on the detail drawings of 2.1 shall consist of all the necessapy material and equipment for presenting amphibious operation. the same part number shall be directly and completely interchangeable with each other w

8、ith respect to installation and performance, regardless of sources from which obtained, without alteration and without selection for fit or performance. 3.2,l Interchangeability.- ALL parts, subassemblies an.assembes:haaing 3.3 Constructiond- Construction shall be as shown on the detail drawings of

9、2.1-and the following: 3.3.1 Metal standse- The aluminum stands, item 5, listed on Drawing C62W35, aqrawing A625149 shall hold all index cards at an angle of approximately 30 degrees from the vertical, 3.3.2 The ship and a5rcraft models, and the land area of the terrain board shall be constructed by

17、s otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requiigements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own facilities or any comercial laboratory acceptable to the Guvernment. right to

18、perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirementso The Government reserves the 4.2 Classification of inspection. - Inspections to be performed are classified as follows: a) in-p

19、rocess inspection b) Quality, Conformance inspection. 4.3 In-process iospection, - In-process inspection shall include such visual and mechanical examinations and testing of materials, subassemblies, parts, and accessories (including purchased standard items)during the manufacturing process as may b

20、e necessary to assure conformance to all the requirements specified. herein e 4.4 Qudity conformance inspection. - 4.4.1 Preproduction inspection. - Preproduction inspection shall be conducted on the preproduction sample and shall consist of all the examina- tions specified herein. 4.4.2 Production

21、inspection.- Production units shall be inspected to the extent necessary to maintain quality control and conformance to the Government-accepted preproduction sample. 4 5 Examinations .,- Examinations shall be performed to verify conformance to the following requirements: (a) Materials :. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5.1 Preservation and packaginge- Preservation and packaging shall be level A or C (see 6.2), Provided by IHSNot for ResaleNo repro

24、unit to a container conforming to Specification PP-B-636. 5.1.2 Level C.- For level C, preservation and packaging shall conform to manufacturer%s commercial practice. 5.2 Packing - Packing shall be level A or C (see 6.2) 52.l Level A,- Units packaged in accordance with 5.1.1 shall be pack&d in exter

25、ior containers conforming to Specifications PPP-B-601 or PPP-3-621 b Unless otherwise specified by the procuring activity (see 6.2), the gross weight shall not exdeed the weight limitations of the shipping container, Each exterior shipping container shall be lined with a waterproof moisture barrier

26、sealed with adhegive or tape to effect water resistance in atm+ We with Specification MIL-L-10547. A case liner sha3i1 not be required where the package(s) and package dunnage have been treated to resist water. Unit fiber boxes, conforming to Specification PPP-B-636, class 2, closed, reinforced and

27、waterproofed as specified in the appendix there%o, and used as shipping containers, shall hot be overpacked. 5.2.2Level C.- Units packaged in accordance with 5.1.2 shall be pakked in containers which will insure acceptance by common carrier and safe delivery at destination. Shipping containers shall

28、 comply with common carrier mies and regulations as applicable to the mode of trans- portation and may be the suppliers commercial practice when such meets the requirements of this level. 5.3 Physical protection.- Ali material shaU be packaged and packed in containers constxhcted to provide a compac

29、t and nonshifting load. Adequate cushioning, blocking and bracing shall be provided within shipping con- tainers in a manner designed to prevent damage due to shock, vibration or impact during shipment, handling and storage. 5 .4 Bhrking. - Interior packages and exterior shipping containers shall be
