The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in this specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to ensure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.1.1 Responsibility for compliance. All items shall meet all requirements of

The absence of any inspection requirements in the specification shall not relieve the contractor of the responsibility of ensuring that all products

A chemical analysis shall be made on each sample selected in accordance with 4.2.2 by chemical or spectrographic methods of ASTM E 37 or ASTM E 117 to determine compliance with the requirements of 3.2. In case of a dispute, chemical analysis by chemical methods shall be the basis for acceptance

The contractor shall furnish an analysis (see 6.3) of each melt showing the percentage of each of the elements specified in 3.2. In those instances where the amount

All material in the lot shall be visually and dimensionally examined to verify compliance with the requirements of this specification for form (3.4) and workmanship (3.5). A sufficient number of measurements shall be taken over each roll to ensure that the dimensional tol
