When specified in the contract or pur- chase order,. a sample shall be subjected to first article inspec- tion (see 4.3 and 6.4) . 3.2 Materials. The materials and components shall be certi- fied t
22、o conform to the applicable specification and standards as Listed on drawing package 82A5048A1300 or required herein. The materials used may include reclaimed materials provided such materials will not jeopardize its intended use and performance. The reclaimed materials shall have been reprocessed,

Al1 welds shall be in accordance with ANSI/AWS A3.01185, A2.4-79 and MIL-W-45205, Class B (see 4.4.4). The frame assembly shall conlorm to the specif
26、ications to such a degree of accuracy it will align to the peg and pin assemblies and lock using the swing latch as illustrated in the footprint drawing Figure 1 (see 4.4.3). 3.4.1 Frame assembly, The frame assembly shall be fabri- 3.4.2 Drawer assembly, 14 inch. 28、ctural Members shall be fabricated from Aluminum Alloy with a minimum yield strength of 35,000 psi, ultimate tensile strength of 200,000 psi. The slide, drawer, extension (3.5) Component Parts shall be of 300 Series Stainless Steel per MIL-S-5059 or MIL-S-7720, Carbon Steel per ASTM A108-81 and/ . s

The slide, drawer, extension (3.5) load rating (per pair) at 22 inch extension shall
30、be 200 lbs. Each drawer support shall be securely bolted to the frame assembly in three places. Each slide, drawer, extension (3.5) shall be screwed to the drawer support in six places. The drawer assembly shall-be screwed to the slide, drawer, extensions (3.5) in 12 places. Installed the drawer ass
31、embly shall operate smoothly and freely with nobinding and close against the frame (see 4.4.5). Each drawer assembly, .14 inch shall be capable of being interchanged for another (see 4.4.6). 3.4.3 Strap assembly, tie down. The strap assembly, tie down shall be fabricated from Strap, Webbing, MIL-W-4
32、088, Type II, Class I, 2500 lbs minimum strength, color Gray; Strap, Webbing MIL-W-4088, Type XXVII, Class I, 6500 lbs minimum strength, color Gray; sewn with Thread per Fed Spec V-T-295, Type II, Class A, Type B, color Black per FED-STD-595. Attaching hardware shall consist of Rotating End Fitting;
33、 Plate, Threading; Hook, Flat; and Fastener, Flat Hook. Attaching hardware shall be Cold Rolled Steel, 300 lbs minimum strength with HD Zinc Plate Bronze Chromate Finish. The strap assembly shall be fabricated to have a minimum strength of 300 lbs (see 4.4.7). 3.4.4 Shelf assembly, stationary. The s
34、helf assembly, tie down, shall be in accordance with drawing 82A5048A1131. The shelf shall be securely screwed .tothe frame assembly in 16.places (see 4.4.8). 3.4.5 Bracket mounting. The bracket mounting, shall be fabricated of Angle, Aluminum Alloy, 6061-T6, QQ-A-200/8 and shall be securely bolted
35、to the frame in four places to such a degree of accuracy ensuring it will align to the foot.print as described in Figure 1 (see 4.4.9). thick aluminum alloy foil, photographically sensitized, adhesive back in accordance with MIL-P-19834, Type I. The decal shall be fabricated from .O03 inch 3.5 Finish. 35.1 Cleaning. Prior to painting metal
37、surfaces shall be cleaned and treated per MIL-T-704, Type G, and MIL-C-5541, Class 3. 3.5.2 Priming. After metal surfaces have been cleaned ,as required they shall be primed per MIL-P-53022, with a minimum dry - film thickness of .O01 inch in one coat. 3.5.3 Painting. Final finish painting shall hav

Interchangeable parts are defined as two or mre like parts possessing such functional and physical characteristics as to be equivalent in performance and durability, and capable of being exchanged one for the other without alterat
40、ion of the parts them- selves or adjoining parts and without selection for fit or perform- ance . 3.7 Workmanship. The Module Assembly, Universal Storage shall meet all design, fabrication, assembly and finish require- ments of this specification. Particular attention shall be given to: sians; thoro
41、ughness of welding; painting; alignment; tightness of screwst bolts, and rivets. 42、TY ASSURANCEPROVICIONS 4 . 1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase.ofder, the contrac
43、tor may use his own or any other -facilities suitable for the.performance of the inspection require- ments specified hereinc unless disapproved by the Goveqnment. TheGovernment reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed neces
44、sary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. I 4.1.1. Responsibility for compliance. All items must meet all requirements of section 3 and 5. The inspection set forth in this specification shall become a part of the contractors overall inspection system or quality program

The absence of any inspec- tion requirements in the specification shall not relieve the con- tractor of the responsibility of assuring that all products or supplies submitted to the Government for acceptance comply with all requirements of the contract. does not authorize submission of known defec
