25、 substances, mixtures, materials, components, or equipments which may cause personal injury, property damage, or environmental deterioration through transportation, use or disposal. These items shall be marked in accordance with the requirements of public law and regulations. The-marking shall inclu
26、de as applicable: Name of product; quantity; warning symbol; signal word designating degree of hazard; affirmative statement of hazards; precautionary measures covering actions to be followed or avoided; instructions in case of contact or exposure; antidotes and notes to physicians; instructions in

29、roval of the procuring activity . 3.4 Design and Construction - The equipment shall conform with all applicable requirements of MIL-E-5400 for design, construction and workmanship, except as otherwise specified herein. 3.4.1 cables, shall be a minimum consistent with good design and shall be not gre

On a reorder from a suppli
31、er who has previously produced the equipment, the program previously contractually required and used shall be continued unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order. (see 6.2.1) 3.4.2.1 Operational Stability - The equipment shall operate with specified performance, continuously or in
32、termittently for a period of not less than 1000 hours without the necessity for readjustment of any controls which are inaccessible to the operator during normal use. 3.4.2.2 Operating Life - The equipment shall have a total operating life of 10,000 hours with minimal servicing and replacement of pa
33、rts. 3.4.2.3 Reliability in Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) - The equipment, including any built-in-test provisions shall have 500 hours of mean (operating) time between failure when tested and accepted as specified in 4.4.2. 3.4.2.4 Time Totalizing Meter - The following units shall contain time to
34、talizing meters as specified below: Meters shall accurately record the operating time of the unit and shall be located such that they can be read without disassembly of the equipment. 35、Program - The requirements specified in 3.4.2.5.1 thru 3.4.2.5.2 shall apply to contractor reliability programs to provide the necessary programs consistency and program control visibility. 3.4.2.5.1 Reliability Design Analysis - The analysis shall consider failure modes and effects, component loadi
36、ngs, environments, and failure rates, mean time between first failures, and mean time between functional failures. Analysis shall continue throughout the design, development, and test phases of the program and shall progressively refine reliability predictions with the most current available design
37、and environmental data. In general, early reliability projections shall be based upon estimated system configuration, component part ratings and stresses, and environmental conditions. Later predictions shall replace these estimates with actual design details, calculated loadings, and calculated loc
38、al environmental exposures. Predictions in the final phase of the program shall reflect current design using the latest design changes, and the component loadings and environmental exposures observed in the development test, adjusted where necessary to reflect maximum specified equipment ambients, 3
39、.4.2.5.1.1 Failure Modes and Effects - The reliability analysis shall include all significant failure modes. Analysis shall document failure modes, effects, and countermeasures and provide projections of relative frequencies of occurrence. Failure mode and effect analysis shall be documented in suff

41、ents maximum specified environmental exposures as specified in this specification, and the estimated, calculated and test-observed, local component part environments present within the equipment during operation at the specified equipment ambients. Predictions shall acknowledge heat generated within
42、 black boxes and the resulting local component temperature rises above the maximum specified black box ambient. Prediction shall also consider aircraft installation and operation and the resulting usual increase in failure rates above those observed in laboratory test. Component failure rate predict
43、ions in accordauce with MIL-HDBK-217 shall reflect the handbooks aircraft environment adjustment factors. as appropriate. Predictions based on other data shall be similarly adjusted 3.4.2.5.1.3 Statistics - Analysis of electronic components with wearout characteristics and age-dependent failure rate
44、s (cathode ray tube, batteries) and mechanical components shall consider the statistical implications of this wearout. maintenance procedures as defined in the hardware specification. Service use during the contractor support phase of the program. Contractors shall employ failure analysis capabilities and facilities of the type nec
