6、r by applicable documents referenced in Section 2 need not be furnished unless specified in the contract or order (see 6.2). 3.2.2 Preproduction samples. Unless otherwise specified in the con- . tract or order, preproduction samples of the recording panel shall be manufactured using the methods and
7、procedures proposed for the produc- tion lot. and are for the purpose of determining that the production item meets the requirements of this specification and the design. Provisions of samples shall be in accordance with 4.2.1. These samples will be tested as specified in Section 4 herein, 3.2.3 Mat
8、erials. Unless otherwise specified in the contract, requi- sition, or order, all materials and purchased parts entering into the final assembly of the recording panel shall conforpi strictly to the de- tailed requirements indicated on the drawings and specifications listed in LD 613310. . . . 3.2.4
9、Finishes, coatings, construction, and dimensions . Finishes, :.Y: coatings, construction, and dimensions for the recording panel shail be strictly in accordance with the appl5cable draxiilgs, specifications, and publications listed in T;D 613310, 3.2.5 Moisture, fungus, and corrosion. The recording
10、panel shall be rendered moisture, fungus, and corrosion resistant as required by os 6341. 3.2.6 Marking. Marking of assemblies, subassemblies, and parts shall be in accordance with the applicable drawings listed in LD 613310. 3.2.7 Interchangeability. Component parts of the assembled units (unless o
11、therwise specified on the applicable drawings ) fabricated in strict accordance with their applicable drswings shall be interchange- able and shall assemble with mating components of the unit without selection or fitting. a Wt, selection or fitting is required, then changes in dimensions me necessar

The record- ing panel shall meet the following performance requirements and product characteristics : 3.3.1 The recording

22、 voltage shall be developed across pins i5 and 16 of S71 which may be adjusted over the range of 0.05 volt to 0.100 voit, peak-to-peak, by potentiometer R. 3.3.U With a resistive load of i5 ohms plus or minus 5 percent con- nected across pins 23 and 24 of Sn and a 400 cps, ac input of 3 volts applie
23、d across terminals U and V of PTO, the output developed across pins 23 and 24 of Sp shall be 0.02 volt plus or minus 20 percent, peak-to-peak. 3.3.2 With the connections as specified in 3.3.11, application of 115 volts, 400 cps, ac across terminals CC and DD of P7O (with terminal CC of P7O having th
24、e same polarity as terminal V of PTO), the output given in 3.3.11 shall be reduced to zero plus or minus 0.008 volt, peak- t o- peak. 3.3.13 With li5 volts, 400 cps, single phase ac connected as in 3.3.l2, but with the ac input signal to terminals U and V of P7O i80 degrees out of phase with that in
25、 3.3.11, the output shdlbe 0.035 volt plus or minus 20 percent, peak-twpeak. 3.3.14 With a resistive load of 150 ohms plus or minus 5 percent con- nected across terminals E33 and FF of 70 and a il5 volt, 400 cps, ac input applied across terminals CC and DD of P7O, the output developed across termina
26、ls EF, and FF of P7O shall be 4.7 plus or minus 0.5 volts dc, terminal EX being negative. 3.3.15 The peak-to-peak ac ripple component of the dc output voltage specified 5.n 3.3.14 shall not exceed 2 percent of the measured dc voltage. 3.3.16 With the 150 ohm load of 3.3.14 connected across terminals
27、 EE and FF of P70, the dc voltage across terminals EF, and BB of P70 and across terminals FF and BB of P7O shall be half of that voltage measured in 3.3.14, plus or minus 1.0 volt. 3.3.17 With an open circuited phone plug inserted in phone jack J1, there shall be an open circuit between terminal BB
28、of P7O and pin 32 of Sn. 30、 S71, shall indicahe a voltage which may be varied, by adjustment of R75, from O to 4.7 plus or minus 0.5 volts, less the voltage drop through 51,000 ohms due to meter current. 3.4 Environmental requirements 3.4.1 Vibration. The recording ed as specified in 4.5.1, shall be tions for a period of 3 ho

33、rocedures specified in 4.5.2. Thereafter the panel shall show no corrosion or darnage and shdl meet the performance requirements and product characteristics of this spec- if ication. 3.4.3 Storage life. When Level A preservation, packaging, and packing, as defined in 6.2, is specified, the recording

Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the perform- ance of dl inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specifi
41、ed, the supplier may utilize his m facilities or any comercial laboratory acceptable to the Government. The Government re- serves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necesszuy to ensure that supplies and services conform to pre
42、scribed requirements. 4.1.1 Classification of characteristics . The characteristics verified by the tests and examinations herein are classified as Critical, Major, or Mnor, in accordance trith WR-43. Tests and examinations that verify critical characteristics are identified by the symbol (C) and th
43、ose that verify major characteristics are identified by the symbol (M). number following the classification symbol indicates the serial number of the test or examination. with a classification code are classified minor. The Tests and examinations that are not annotated 4.2 Sampling 4 -2.1 Preproduct
44、ion sample. Unless otherwise specified for each con- tract or order, a representative sample of five recording panels shall be submitted to the Government inspector, preserved, packaged, and packed as specified in the contract or order, for production tests at an activity designated in the contract
45、or by the Naval Ordnance Systems Comand. Further production of the recording panels by the contractor prior to approval of the contracting activity of preprodvction samples shall be at the contractors risk. Preproduction samples accepted will be applied as part of the quantity specified in the contr
46、act or order. 4.2.2 Lot size. As applied to Government inspection of units of pro- duction, the term lot“ shall mean “inspection lot,“ that is, a collec- tion of units of product submitted by a supplier for Government inspec- tion. inspection lots will be determined by the Government inspector and m
47、ay differ from the quantity designated in the contract or order in a lot for production, shipment, or other purpose. Unless otherwise specified, the number of units of product in 4.2.3 Periodic production samples Step 1. Upon initiation of production the Government inspector shall randomly select on
48、e unit from each group of five units for submission to a Naval Ordnance Systems Comand activity. Step 2.
