RE?auIRFMENIps 3.1 General. - Materials, parts and assemblies shall comply with the requirement

14、 burr which might interfere with the assembly or function of the item or which might be injurious o personnel handling the item. 3.6.3 Foreign matter. - No part or assembly shall contain chips, dirt, grease, rust, corrosion or other foreign matter. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility

15、for inspection. - Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. the supplier may utilize his own facilities or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the Government. shall be kept com

16、plete and available to the Government as specified in the contract or order. inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 18、ard MILSTD-109 to define the quality assurance terms ursd. 4.1.2 Inspection. - Inspection shall be made in accordance with specifica- tions MUTA-2550 and MIL-1-45208, except as specified herein. 4.2 Inspection provisions, 4.2.1 4.2.1.1 Submission of product. - The product shall be submitted in accor

19、dance with Standard MIL-STD-105 or Standard MIL-STD-414, as appllcable. 4.2.1.2 Size of lot. - A lot shall consist of an identifiable group of assembled units containing metal parts assemblies produced by a homogeneous process and loaded with a single lot of cartridges, 4.2.2 Examination. - One hund

20、red percent examination shall be performed for all critical defects. Examination for major and minor defects shall be performed on a defect basis in accordance with the classification of defects contained herein, using the sampling plan and associated criteria in Table III. “he total number of allow

39、in Specification MIL-1-45208. 4.3 Test methods and procedures. 4.3.1 Breakway torque. - An approved torque wrench, set at the torque requirements specified in 3.2, shall be used to determine the adequacy of the joint. respectively with the unit secured in the device. The torque shall be applied to t

40、he firing head, cap and sleeve 4.3.2 Residual magnetism. - The assembly shall be tested in an area free of local magnetic effects, by placing the assembly 6 inches from and at the same height as the compass, in a north-south horizontal position (firing head end at south) with the compass set in an e

41、ast-west heading as shown in figure 1. The remover shall be moved slowly past the compass in a longitudinal direction for its entire length, rotated i80 degrees in the horizontal position about its longitudinal axis and moved slowly back past the compass. 8 Provided by IHSNot for ResaleNo reproducti

43、d MS-28741. tested within 10 minutes after removal from the conditioning chamber. When this time limit is exceeded, the sample shall be reconditioned at the original temperature. The sample shall be 4.3.3.1.1 Temperature conditioning. - A standard M5 Remover, loaded with a dummy Ml20 Cartridge, cont

44、aining a temperature sensitive element shall be placed in the conditioning chamber at the same time as the samples. conditioning time shall be a minimum of one hour longer than the time necessary to bring the element contained in the dummy cartridge to the required temperature. The 4.3.3.2 Locked sh

45、ut. - Two removers shall be temperature conditioned in accordance with 4.3.3.1.1 and as follows: degrees F, and the other at minus 65 degrees F to minus 70 degrees F. test samples shall be rigidly supported at the mounting points and the tubes shall be restrained from moving. The test samples shall

46、be fired with an M3Al Initiator connected to the remover with 10 feet of aircraft hose, size 4, Standard MS-28741. one remover at i60 degrees F to i65 The 5. PREPARATION FOR DJZLIVEBY 5.1 Packing and marking. - Level A - Packing and marking shal be in accordance with Drawings C88237i5 and C8823716.
