REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Testing - This specification makes provision for testing (see 4.). 3.2 Materials, Parts, and Processes - The materials, parts, and processes shall be in accordance with MIL-T-21200. 3.2.1 Selection of Parts, Materials and Processes - Except as specified herein, MIL-T-21200 sh

11、all apply for the selection of parts, materials and processes. 3.2.2 Approval of Nonstandard Parts and Materials - Approval for the use of nonstandard parts and materials (including microelectronic devices) shall be in accordance with MIL-T-21200. and materials data shall be in accordance with Step

12、I and Step II only of MIL-STD-749. Nonstandard parts 3.3 Design and Construction - Except as specified herein, the design and construction shall be in accordance with MIL-T-21200. 3.3.1 Total Weight - The total weight of the equipment shall be a minimum consistant with good design and shall not exce

13、ed 27 pounds. 3.3.2 Microelectronic Devices - Microelectronic technology shall be considered. When used, microelectronic devices shall have two or more sources and the device from each source shall be inter- changeable. Interchangeability shall be demonstrated by random in- stallation of devices fro

14、m two or more sources during fabrication of production quantities. random mixing of device sources shall be proof of interchangeability. Unsuccessful operation of the equipment shall be evaluated to detefmine if a device is faulty or not interchangeable. Successful operation of the equipment with a

38、t - The Signal Simulator shall contain the below listed subassemblies and printed wiring assemblies (PWA), shall be 7-5/16 inches by 4-9/16 inches with electrical interfaces terminated into a M21097/13-02 connector per MIL-C-21097.
