18、speci- fied herein and shall consist of one coupling half dust plug, one flanged female coupling half, two Y-fittings, four gate valves, four pipe elbows, two sediment strainers, one flanged male coupling half, one coupling half dust cap, one ground rod, one ground wire assembly, frame, flange gaske

19、ts, and threaded fasteners. Components, less frame, shall be arranged as shown in Figures 1 and 2 to provide parallel flow. 3.3.1 Couplinghalf dust plug. The coupling half dust plug shall conform to MS2 7029- 19. 3,J.Z Flanged female coupling half. The flanged female coupling half shall conform to M

20、S27027-19. 3.3.3 Y-fitting. The Y-fitting shall conform to MS39336-5. 3.3.4 Gate valve. The gate valve shall conform to MIL-V-58039, size 6-inch, type I. 3.3.5 Pipe el-bow. The spare strainer gaskets shall be inter- leaved with paper conforming to UU-P-268 and placed between two sheets of

24、 fiberboard conforming to PPP-F-320, type, class, variety and grade optional, 1/2 inch beyond the gasket edges. The fiberboard shall be of such a size as to extend at least 5.1.1,2 Strainer assembly. The interior surfaces of the strainer assembly requiring a preservative in accordance with MIL-P-116

25、 shall be coated with P-10, type I, grade 30 preservative as specified in MIL-P-116. The valves shall be left open a minimum of 1/4 inch and the dust caps and plugs installed. be preserved in accordance with MIL-P-116, method IC-1 or IC-3, accordance with the level A requirements of PPP-P-40. 5 1 ,

Packing shall be level A, B, or commercial, as specified (see 6.2.1). 5.2.1 Level A. Each complete strainer assembly shall be packed in a box conforming to PPP-B-601, overseas

28、 type, grade B, or PPP-B-621, class 2. Blocking, bracing, and anchoring of the contents shall be in accord- ance with MIL-STD-1186, QQ-C-781, class 1, type I or IV, size as applicable and unless otherwise specified shali be finish B (see 6.2.1).
