7、all be complied with as applicable. 3.1.3 PreDroduction samle. - Unless otherwise speci- fled in the contract or order, a preproduction sample shall be manufactured by the same procedures and processes and at the same location as proposed for full production. This sample will be tested for the purpo

8、se of determining com- plicance with the requirements of this specification, the drawings, and the contract. See 4.1.2. 3.1.4 Interchanaeability. - Component parts of assembled units (unless otherwise specified on the applicable drawings) fabricated in strict agreement with their applicable drawings

9、 shall be interchangeable and shall assemble with mating com- ponents of the unit without selection or fitting. If during assembly of the fabricated parts of a unit, selection or fitting is required and changes in dimensions are necessary, no changes in the parts as delineated on applicable draw- in

10、gs shall be made without prior approval of the Bureau of Ordnance. 3 .2 Moisture-and fungus-resistant treatment. - Mater- ials and parts of this test set which are not moisture and fungus resistant shall be treated, before assembly, with a varnish conforming to Military Specification MIL-V-173. from

13、inq. - Unless otherwise specified, solder- ing processes-shall conform to the requirements specified in Military Specification MIL*-6872. Only non-corrosive and non-volatile fluxes shall be used. Rosin shall be used when soldering wires to contacts and terminals. The use of rosin core solder is perm

14、itted. Electrical connections shall be mechanically secure and electrically continuous before soldering. 20、 ASSURANCE PROVISIONS AND TEST REQUIFEMENTS . Samlinq. - Unless otherwise specified, and when applicable, the sampling plans and procedures used by the Government inspector in the determination of the acceptability of products submitted by a supplier for Government inspection will be in accordance w

21、ith the provisions of MIL-STD-105. - Lot. - As applied to the Government inspection of units of product, the term lotff shall mean “inspection lot“, i.e. a collection of units of the product used as a basis for Government inspection. the number of units of product in “inspection lots“ shall be as de

22、termined by the Government Inspector, and may differ from the quantity designated in the contract or order as a lot for production, shipment or other purpose. PreDroduction samDle, - Unless otherwise speci- fled for each contract or order, a representative sample of one test set shall be manufacture

23、d using the methods and pro- cedures proposed for full production. The Government in- spector shall perform, witness, or participate in such inspections and tests on the sample as are required for full production. Upon conditional acceptance by the inspector, the preproduction sample shall be forwar

24、ded, together with a report of Inspection, to an activity designated in the contract or by the procuring agency, for the purpose of determining compliance with the requirements of the contract, specifications and drawings. Further production of the item by the contractor prior to approval of the con

25、tracting activity or the completion of the tests on preproduction samples shall be at the contractors risk. samples accepted will be applied as part of the quantity speci- fied by the contract or order. 4.1.1 Unless otherwise specified, 4.1.2 Preproduction 4.1.2.1 eDroduction samle for a subseauent

Unless otherwise specified, these inspections will be conducted in accordance with instructions contained in OP 400. 4.2.2 Contractors inspection. - Contractors inspection shall be conducted in accordance with provisions of by Contractor“ as contained in OP 400. tes

29、ting of test sets covered by this Uocument shall be classi- fied as follows: 4.3 Classification of tests. - The inspection and (a) preproduction tests (b) acceptance tests Premoduction tests. - Preproduction tests are 4.3.1 those performed on samples submitted in accordance with 4.1.2 to determine t

30、hat the lot and production meet all the require- ments of this specification. 4.3.2 Acceptance tests. - Acceptance tests for accept- ance of the test set covered by this specification shall con- sist of tests to determine compliance with all requirements specified in this document 4.4 Test eauipment

31、 4.4.1 Test and inmection eauiDment and facilities. - Unless otherwise specified, the manufacturer shall furnish and maintain all necessary test equipment, facilities and personnel for performing all.acceptance tests under the supervision of the Government inspector. The test equipment shall be ade

(b) Ohmmeter, ranges O to 5, 1000, 5OO0, 1000,000, and 500,000 ohms, accuracy within *2 percent. (c) Megohmmeter, 5-volts d-c, range 10.0 to 100 megohms, accuracy wi

34、thin *lo percent 4.5 Tests. 4.5.1 Test conditions. - Unless otherwise specified, tests shall be performed at 80 *10T and ambient relative humidity. 4.5.2 Visual dnsDection. - The test set and its com- ponent parts shall be inspected to verify that the materials, design, construction, physical dimens

35、ions, soldering, and workmanship are in accordance with this document and the drawings. 4.5.3 Insulation resistance. - The test set shall be subjected to a conditioning period of 24 hours at a temper- ature of 77O f2T, and a relative humidity or 75 *5 percent. A test potential of 500 h20 volts d-c I

36、s then applied as specified in 3.7.1 using megohmmeter, test item 4.4.1.1 (c). The insulation resistance shall be not less than 50 megohms. 4.5.4 Calibration and Dercentane control test. (a) Connect test set AC plug to ll5-volt, 60-cycle power supply, test item 4.4.1.1 (a). (b) Set PWR switch at ON

37、and allow 5 minutes for the set to warm up. (e) Connect one 20,000-ohm resistor (supplied with set) to STANDARD binding posts.
