17、1 Life Test (406.13 ) 1 1 1 4.5 4.5.1 Individual Inspeotim and Testing 4.6.1.1 Production nits - inspection and Testing Visual 1nspeotion.- Each valve offered for acaeptance under the oontracti shall be in- spected visually to insure that it has been properly assembled and that the worlonanship and
18、finishes are in keeping with the intent of this specificetion. 4.5.1.2 Leakage Test.- Vith the outlet ports suitably capped, each valve, without the solenoid, shall be completely immersed in water and subjected +o a static internal gas pressure (air or nitro- gen) of 2250 pounds per square inoh appl
19、ied gradually. “he allowable lealange shall not exceed twenty bubbles per minute through the ball c!iecks and/or the exhaust ports. This leakage test shall first be conducted with the valve in the inoperative position and then with the plunger depressed manually. Upon satisfactory completion of the
20、above test, reduce the gas pressure to 500 pounds per square inch and repeat the above leakage test. 4.6.1.3 Functional Test.- Each valve submitted for aooeptance under the contract shall be The time required for the cwnected as shown in Figure 1, and cycled not less than three times. first three co

23、ied, all tests shall be conducted at an ambient temperature of 75 degrees plus or minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit (240 + 5OC). Test voltago shall be maintained at 27.5 volts, D.
