APPLICABLE TO THE PLY RATING SPECIFIED ABOVE SHALL BE APPLIED WITH THE VERTICAL CENTER-LINE OF T

6、HE MOUNTED TIRE MAKING AN ANGLE OF 90 DEGREES WITH THE PLATEN. IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE RELEASE OF THIS LOAD THE TIRE SHALL BE SUBJECTED TO THE SAME LOADING CONDITION AT A SPOT 180 DEGREES FROM THE INITIAL POINT OF LOADING. THE TIRE SHALL BE INFLATED WITH AIR TO 165 PSI FOR 8 PR, 270 PSI FOR 1.2 PR

7、, ANO 300 PSI FOR 14 PR AND A VERTICAL LOAD AS (2) DYNAMIC TEST - FOLLOWING THE ABOVE BRUISE TEST THE SAME TIRE SHALL BE SUBJECTED TO 25 DYNAMOMETER LANDINGS AT A SPEED OF 120 MPH WITH AN UNLANDING SPEED CALCULATED TO MAKE THE TIRE ABSORB 80% OF THE INITIAL FLY WHEEL ENERGY WHEN COMPUTED IN ACCORDAN

8、CE WITH MIL-T-5041. INFLATION PRESSURE VARIED AS NECESSARY TO PRODUCE A STATIC DEFLECTION OF 32% ON THE FLYWHEEL SURFACE. THE STATIC LOAD SHALL BE AS APPLICABLE TO THE PLY RATING SPECIFIED ABOVE AND THE (3) BURST TEST - FOLLOWING THE ABOVE DYNAMIC TEST THE SAME TIRE SHALL BE SUBJECTED TO A HYDROSTAT

9、IC BURST. THE PRESSURE 2 SHALL BE INCREASED UNTIL THE TIRE FAILS AND THE FAILING PRESSURE REPORTED IN THE QUALIFICATION TEST REPORT. I, (4) I,? DYNAMOMETER TEST - AS DESCRIBED IN MIL-T-5041. A NEW TIRE SHALL BE SUBJECTED TO 50 HIGH SPEED (120-90 MPH) AND 50 LOW SPEED (90-0 MPH) LANDINGS NOTE - WHEN

10、THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CONVENTIONAL AND TUBELESS TIRES IS IDENTICAL, EXCEPT FOR THE TUBELESS TIRE INNER LINER, ONLY THE TUBELESS TIRE NEED BE QUALIFIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS DRAWING. AIR RETENTION - THE TUBELESS TIRE SHALL BE INFLATED TO A PRESSURE OF 150 PSI FOR 8 PR, 260 PSI

11、 FOR 12 PR, AND 300 PSI FOR 14 PR, REPLACED. AND THE TIRE INSPECTED. APPEARANCE AND PERFORMANCE DEFECTS SUCH AS SIDEWALL BLISTERS, TREAD SEPARATION, ETC. AND ALLOWED TO STAND FOR A PERIOD OF 24 HOURS AT WHICH TIME THE PRESSURE DROP DUE TO GROWTH SHALL BE THE TIRE SHALL THEN STAND FOR AN ADDITIONAL 2
