39、labeling or marking.1.4 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING*NOTE: Include bracketed sentence for cold climate installations of PVC windows.*Deliver windows to the project site in an undamaged condition. Use care in handling and hoisting windows during transportation and at the job site. Store windows an

40、d components out of contact with the ground, under a weathertight covering, to prevent bending, warping, or otherwise damaging the windows. Store windows and components so they will not have to be handled at minus 28 degrees C 20 degrees F or colder. Repair damaged windows to an “as new“ condition a

Provide new units if windows cannot be repaired.1.5 PROTECTIONProtect finished surfaces during shipping and handling using the manufacturers standard method, except do not apply coatings or lacquers on surfaces to receive caulking and glazing compounds.1.6 SUSTAINABLE DESIGN REQUIREMENTS
