12、IONAL STANDARD Approval of an American National Standard requires verification by ANSI that the requirements for due process, consensus, and other criteria for approval have been met by the standards developer. Consensus is established when, in the judgment of the ANSI Board of Standards Review, sub

Consensus requires that all views and objections be considered, and that a concerted effort be made toward their resolution.

The requirement of ANSI/IEEE C37.20.3 is sufficient for application of metal-enclosed interrupter sw

Conformance testing is performed to show compliance with the basic requirements when required to satisfy special agreements or regulatory agency requirements. Conformance testing may be

Conformance testing need not be performed if not required. Metal-enclosed interrupter (MEI)
