7、7 Approval of an American National Standard requires verification by ANSI that the requirements for due process, consensus, and other criteria for approval have been met by the standards developer. An American National Standard implies a consensus of those substantially concerned with its scope and
8、provisions. Consensus is established when, in the judgment of the ANSI Board of Standards Review, substantial agreement has been reached by directly and materially affected interests. Substantial agreement means much more than a simple majority, but not necessarily unanimity. Consensus requires that
9、 all views and objections be considered, and that a concerted effort be made toward their resolution. 26、Halogen Lamps with GX5.3 Bases 1 Scope This standard consolidates the lamps commonly used for microfilm projectors into a single performance standard. The lamps contained in this standard are not to be considered as interchangeable, although physically they will all fit the common GX5.3 sockets. The
27、 photometry of each lamp is dependent upon the system for which it was designed and on the system in which it is used. Representative photometric values are found in Table 2 with typical projection systems found in Annex A Two-inch (51 mm) dichroic coated integral reflector, rim reference, tungsten
28、halogen lamps with GX5.3 bases having the following ANSI lamp designations are covered in this standard: DDL, DDS, DED, DJT, EPV, EPX, EPZ, EYG, FHX, FJX, FML. 2 Normative References The following standards contain provisions, which through reference in this text constitute provisions of this Americ

All standards are subject to revision, and parties to agreements based on this American National Standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the standards indicated

Tungsten-halogen lamps operate at high temperature and at internal gas
37、 pressures above atmospheric pressure. Consequently, a lamp could shatter. Certain lamps may also emit some amount of ultraviolet radiation. Therefore a suitable protective shield, screening technique, or both shall be used with the luminaire to protect people and surroundings from both hazards. 2.

See Figure AI in Annex A for typical projection systems used for small screen photometry appraisal of the lamps in this standard.
42、Light from lamps passes through a condenser lens, a rectangular, square, or circular aperture, and a projection lens, and is formed into a rectangular, square, or circular image proportional in size to the aperture. This image is projected onto a small screen equipped with photocells for measurement
