Some specifications are in the form of

2、 an ink formulation while others are in terms of specific colors in the PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM. Pantone provides numerous colors in systematic order with their mixture formulae, using a specific set of printing inks available from practically all ink manufacturers.When there is no PANTONE color tha

3、t matches the standard color, the appropriate ink formula is shown for matching the safety color and the closest PANTONE color is shown in parenthesis. These formulae use the same inks as used for the PANTONE colors. Note that printing ink colors can vary according to the finish on the paper substra

4、te used. These colors must be printed on coated stock similar in finish to that used for this chart. The “C“ following each PANTONE number indicates it represents the color as printed on coated stock, such as used for this chart and in PANTONE publications bearing this “C.“It is important to note th
