Twotestmethodsaredescribedformeasuringtherateofdissipationofelectrostaticchargeofgarmentmaterials, i.e.thechargedecay.Inbothcases,chargeismonitoredbyobservationoftheelectrostaticfielditgeneratesand thisisdoneusingnoncontactingfieldmeasuringinstruments.Theprincipaldifferencebetwe
