All rights reserved. Introduction This introduction is not part of IEEE Std C37.017-2010, IEEE Standard for Bushings

3、for High-Voltage over 1000 V (ac) Circuit Breakers and Gas-Insulated Switchgear. This standard is based on the standard practices in the United States for bushings for high-voltage power circuit breakers, gas-insulated substation switchgear, and gas-insulated transmission lines. It is the result of

4、joint efforts of the users and manufacturers working together in the Bushings Working Group of the High Voltage Circuit Breakers Subcommittee of the IEEE Switchgear Committee and the Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) Subcommittee of the IEEE Substations Committee. Prior to 1991, ANSI C76.1 was the gove

5、rning standard for the circuit breaker bushings. These bushings were oil-filled condenser type and intended for oil-filled power circuit breakers. NEMA, who had responsibility for this standard, transferred its content to the Transformers Committee of the IEEE Power therefore, tests in which a flash

6、over occurs through an atmospheric path may be ignored. It is permissible to raise the dielectric strength of the atmospheric paths by artificial means, such as an extra-high-voltage shield or a corona ring. In some atmospheric conditions, it may be desirable to delay testing of the non-atmospheric paths until conditions improve. 9.1.6 Wet tests The bushing shall be subjected to wet withstand tests under the standard wet t

8、est procedure given in IEEE Std 4. Wet tests shall be performed for bushings on outdoor switchgear only. 9.1.7 Power-frequency voltage tests Bushings shall be subjected to power-frequency voltage withstand tests in accordance with IEEE Std 4. The test voltage shall be raised for each test condition

9、to the test value and maintained for 1 min. The test voltage frequency shall be equal to the rated power frequency. The bushing shall be considered to have passed the test if no flashover or puncture occurs. 9.1.8 Impulse tests 9.1.8.1 Switching impulse voltage tests Bushings shall be subjected to s

10、witching impulse voltage tests performed with voltages of both polarities using the standardized switching impulse 250/2500 s according to IEEE Std 4. Switching impulse tests are not required for bushings applied at system voltage 245 kV and below. 9.1.8.2 Lightning impulse voltage tests Bushings sh

11、all be subjected to lightning impulse withstand voltage tests in dry conditions only. The tests shall be performed with voltages of both polarities using the standard lightning impulse 1.2/50 s according to IEEE Std 4. 9.2 Artificial pollution tests If artificial pollution tests are required, they s

12、hall be performed in accordance with IEC 60507. 9.3 Radio influence voltage and partial discharge measurement tests 9.3.1 Radio influence voltage test 9.3.1.1 General RIV tests apply only to hollow gas-insulated bushings for equipment rated 123 kV and above. 9.3.1.2 Test voltages and limits A test v

13、oltage of (1.1) Um/3 shall be applied to the bushing, with Umbeing the rated maximum system voltage of the bushing. The measurement of the RIV shall then be made and recorded. The bushing shall be considered to have passed the test if the radio influence level at (1.1) Um/3 does not exceed 2500 V. I

All rights reserved. 9.3.1.3 Atmospheric conditions Tests shall be conducted under atmospheric conditions prevailing at the time and place of test,

15、but it is recommended that tests be avoided when the water vapor pressure is below 0.67 kPa or above 2.00 kPa. Because the effects of humidity and air density upon RIV are not definitely known, no correction factors are recommended for either at the present time. However, it is recommended that baro

16、metric pressure and dry and wet-bulb thermometer readings be recorded so that, if suitable correction factors should be determined, they could be applied to previous measurements. 9.3.1.4 Radio influence voltage test equipment and procedure The equipment and general method used in making RIV tests s

17、hall be in accordance with the recommendations of Annex A of ANSI/NEMA CC 1-2009. The measuring circuit shall preferably be tuned to a frequency within 10% of 1.0 MHz, but other frequencies in the range of 0.5 MHz to 2 MHz may be used. The actual measuring frequency will be recorded. The test result

18、s shall be expressed in microvolts. 9.3.2 Partial discharge measurement A test for the measurement of partial discharge quantity shall be carried out on all gas-insulated bushings provided that the hollow insulator has been previously subjected to an adequate electrical test prior to assembly. This

19、is a routine test for gas-filled bushings, bushings with solid composite insulation, and gas-insulated condenser-graded bushings. The tests shall be made in accordance with IEEE Std C37.301. The partial discharge measurements shall be made after the dry power-frequency withstand voltage test (see 9.

20、1.7) during the decrease of the voltage from the dry power-frequency withstand test level. The measured value shall not exceed 10 pC at 1.5 Um/3. If the measured values are higher than 10 pC, the test may be extended for up to 1 h to check if the values return to the allowed limit. The bushing shall

21、 be accepted if the partial discharge at the end of this 1 h period is within limits. 9.4 Temperature-rise tests Subclause 6.5 of IEEE Std C37.100.1-2007 applies. The test is applicable to all types of bushings, unless it can be demonstrated by calculation based on comparative tests that specified t

22、emperature limits are met. The temperature rise test shall be conducted as specified in IEC 60137. The bushing shall be considered to have passed the test if the permissible temperature limits specified in IEEE Std C37.100.1 are not exceeded. 9.5 Verification of thermal short-time current withstand The ability of the bushing to withstand the standard value of thermal short-time current shall be verified as specified in IEC 60137. The value of short-time current shall be as specified in IEEE Std C37.06 for the high-voltage circuit breakers and IEEE Std C37.122 and IEEE PC37.122.2 for the GIS.
