This standard sets forth and specifies the requirements on quality control through the shipbuilding production, the drawings and documents to be submitted for approval, the tests and inspections to be done for delivery acceptance, and the building accuracy. It does not include however those with special quality requirements.This standard is applicable to the construction testing and delivery inspection for ships of 3000 tonnage and above.
