Subsequent to the publication of this pre-standard. the technical content shall not be changed to an extent that interchangeability is affected, physically or functionally, without re-identification of the standard. 13、he bolt shall be at least level with the threaded hole lead-in face on the item in which the insert is to be fitted (see figure 2). The end of the bolt shall protrude beyond the insert by a minimum of 2 turns when the basic length of the insert is less than or equal to 2D i), figure 2. The end of th

14、e bolt may be recessed inside the thread insert by a maximum of 0.5 turns when the inserts basic length is in excess of 2D 1), figure 4.
