11、Manage- ment - Flowchart Symbols and Their Use in Micro- graphics, ANSIfAIIM MS4-1987.) This standard has been reviewed and revised by the Computer Information Interfaces, C5 Committee of AIIM. This standards committee is the successor to the Flowchart Symbols standards committee that originally pre

12、pared this standard. At the time of this review the standard was, in addition, reformatted to conform to the current style manual. The objective of the original Flowchart Symbols standards committee was a two-phase program: one to prepare a written industry standard, and two to produce a flowchart t

The purpose of this standard is to establish sym- bols, symbolic language, and recommended flow- chart procedures to improve communications among users and manufacturers of micrographics tech- nology. 14、he American National Stan- dard for Flowchart Symbols and their Usage in In- formation Processing, X3.5-I970 was of paramount consideration in the preparation of the original stan- dard ANSUAIIM MS4-1972. New symbols, uses, and recommendations were made only where con- sidered essential for better c

Suggestions for improvement of this standard are welcome and should be sent to the Chairman, AIIM Standards

The operational systems flow at the third level goes into greater detail and normally would be of interest only to those who specialize in a specific section of the system d

This standard presents guidelines and recom- mendations for creating flowcharts at level 1, management systems, and level 2, operational systems. Symbolic notations and their sequencing are established through level 2 in this standard. Where all

Due to the number of variables inherent in the many sections of a detailed systems flow, it is neither practical to establish standard notations nor to in- clude illustrations for all possible conditions withi
