5、and Use4.1 These warnings are intended as preventive measuresagainst most reported hazards. This practice may not apply toall tents or bivouac sacks, and should be modified appropri-ately.5. Procedure5.1 The recommended labels are shown in the figures below.The size of the tent label is not defined,
6、 but should be readablein accordance with ANSI Z535.4 and based on the size of thetent.5.2 The tent label is not intended to replace the labelrequired by CPIA-84.6. Tent Label6.1 The caution sign and warning label are printed on anorange background 6 in. wide by 1 in. high, with the rest of thewordi
7、ng on a white background. It is recommended that thelabel be sewn into the tent close to an entrance where the userwill easily see it. See Fig. 1.7. Bivouac Sack Label7.1 The recommended size of the bivy warning label is 2 in.wide by 4 in. long. The caution sign and “warning” are printedon an orange
8、 background 2 in. wide by 1 in. wide, with the restof the wording on a white background. It is recommended thatthe label be sewn onto the bivy, on or close to a zipper whereit will be easily seen by a user. See Fig. 2.8.
