Sec. 1.2 Purpose The purpose of this standard is to provide purchasers, manufacturers, and suppliers with minimum requirements for sodium tripolyphosphate (mate- rial), including physical, chemical, sampling, packaging, shipping, and testing requir

Sec. 1.3 Application This standard can be referenced in documents for purchasing and receiving sodium tripolyphosphate and can be used as a guide for testing the physical and chemical properties of sodium tripolyphosphate samples. 23、 tripolyphosphate: A crystalline solid that is a soluble sodium poly- phosphate containing Na 2 O and P 2 O 5in a molar ratio of approximately 1.67 Na 2 O to 1.0 P 2 O 5 .
